Overall a great product. Have had a couple isolated instances where it disappears and disconnects me, but it only happened twice, and after unplugging and plugging back in it worked perfectly.

Too bad that I can't give this thing and this company 0 stars. I have previously purchased Netgear routers and other items and not had an issue. Apparently, this company has changed. I purchased this item in March to replace a USB adapter that became outdated due to my move to AT&T UVerse internet. I use this item on a desktop that is on a different floor than my router. When I purchased it, setup was simple and it worked fine, until a few days ago when my signal was terminating on it's own. Since I have only owned it for a few months, I called Netgear to see if they could help me. I spoke to a rep who was more than helpful but did point out that you only get 90 days of support for free from Netgear with a purchase. She granted me a "one time exception" for free support to help me with my issue. After being on the phone with her for almost 2 hours, it seemed that the issue had been resolved until today when the same problem returned. Since I had a case number, I called Netgear back to have them help me because the problem was not resolved. The support person I spoke to today, two days later told me that they could not help me without a payment to them for technical support. I asked for a supervisor who informed me of the same thing. Obviously this company does not stand behind their product and the items they are selling now are nothing short of complete garbage. If you know what is good for you, you will not buy any Netgear items. This company clearly does not care a lick about the consumer and is only out there to suck as much money as they can out of your pocket. I would have expected at least a year of support for their product but apparently I am living in a dream world.

Bought it. Plugged it in. A dozen wi-fi connections to choose from. Free internet!

Do NOT buy this, save yourself the headache and anger and dish out the extra money for a really nice internet card instead. I can barely download anything, it always fails and loses connection if I am downloading anything. Playing games online just doesn't cut it with this either, laggy and never a good solid connection. Save yourself the headache and get a good internet card instead.

This usb adapter was very easy to install. I use it upstairs and get very good to excellent reception, my wireless router is down stairs.

I just pressed the button on the device when it said to and there was my connection. That easy!

I bought a new monitor for room use and it was working fine when my 3-yr old Belkin adapter gave up on me. I had to buy a new one so I can connect to our new Netgear Router. I thought the reason why my old adapter wouldn't work was because it was old and it doesn't sync well with a Netgear router. Bought this one to test it out. I was so frustrated at the end of many failed attempts to connect it to our router. I thought having the same brand with our router will solve my issues but sadly, it didn't. Had to return this right away. I am not a really good tech person but I can hold my own connecting gadgets here and there. But, this really gave me a hard time. Had to go back and forth to click the connect button, enter the router password, etc. Still didn't work. Maybe this isn't the right adapter for my old CPU. But, found happiness when I switched it to a Netgear N150! Now, that product is the one for me! What took me an hour or so installing and connecting with the N600, only took me 10 mins with the N150!

Whata diference this product. I am so glad I upgraded my wireless connection. I would recommend this to all!

Nice unit with a seperate extension cable to allow you to plug it into a desktop and place the actual device on top of the desk or on the side of the monitor.

Works like a charm on wireless G router. Good capacity for video transmittal and WEB browsing. No complaints.

Using with a Netgear router. Setup was easy. Very good "reception" in bedroom. Using with desktop without any issues.

It worked the way it was designed after the faulty Netgear rangemax dual band router was replaced.

I bought this when I got my new computer. It was a jump from my old computer which used a wireless card. It's been working great. I'm hitting the one year mark for it very soon and I can already tell it's on its way out. It now has trouble keeping a connection so I'm disconnecting from the internet frequently. As a PC gamer, this is very frustrating.

No complaints about this device. Router downstairs, adapter upstairs.

Bought this because I had horrid signal in my room. Not anymore!!!

Great product. Haven't experienced any problems with it.

My internal wireless broke in laptop and this replaces it for my much less than a repair.

I found this to be very helpful when in low signal areas and worked great with me old emachines tower.....
