If your wireless card fails or if you have a computer without one built in, then this is a lifesaver. There are plenty of options for wireless cards, but this one is by far the best. Great price, great range, and good ole netgear quality.

Simple to install and promotes 300gps output. Has backup program that comes with it but I just use the Windows 7 imaging feature. Has an app that sits in your tray that when opened supplies current output and status of the network with network information. Nice to have.

It works very well and performs as I expected. It does a good job.

When I switched internet companies, I had to get this for the PC. Works well, very fast; however, sometimes it takes a little while to send many pictures. Don't know if it's this adapter, the router or the USB port. But either way, I'm pleased with it.

Got this for an old computer that I moved out of my office but it didn't have a wireless adapter built in. This is a complete no brainer to use and has great signal strength. If you need a cheap solution and don't want to have to think about setup, this is your product.

I was prepared to buy the best (most expensive) wi-fi adapter to ensure there would be no internet troubles. The sales rep pointed out the cost point on this one and we 'gambled' on it. bottomline: great product - great price - great value.

Works well on desktop running Windows 8.1, keeps connection and does not drop.

This was the easiest thing I've ever installed. We needed to add my father-in-law's older PC to our wireless network. I envisioned problems and configuration nightmares, but to my surprise I just followed the easy instructions and we were up an running in no time.

Bought this for a laptop. Had a bad wifi. Would have cost way too much to fix laptop. Instead was able to use this. Works just fine! Will update with a new laptop or tablet later when we have more money. Maybe your in the same position?

This Netgear wifi adapter is easy to install and software was a breeze to install. Works great and the size is perfect as it takes up almost no space at all. The Velcro it came with did not work well to attach but everything else is great.

Found this instead of running cable. Works great and fast internet connection.

I was happy to get this device, as my old (4.5 year old) laptop lost its ability to connect wirelessly. It does connect but it does take the better part of 2 minutes (120+ secs) to be up and usable. It ties everything up during the initial connection. The worst part is that it drops all connectivity after about 20 to 30 minutes of idle time (it varies on how long ... sometimes more sometimes a bit less). When it runs, it runs perfect and up to my FIOS 50mbps. But at times, especially during the first 10 minutes, it runs very slow (<2 mbs). I do believe it may that my laptop is "old" but who knows. This product is for someone in dire need to connect but be sure to have a newer computer.
