Does a good job. The setup was a little tedious. Seems to be no way to select which of my wifi signals to make the default, it connects to both and I need to manually disconnect one of them otherwise it slows down. Most likely this is my problem.

I went in looking for something to assist my older desktop computer in connecting to the wife Internet at work and the Best Buy team helped me find what I was looking for. It was literally just a matter of plugging in the WiFi adapter from Netgear and voila!

It works well, just as described. Unfortunately I bought it for my mother in a nursing home that did not have the wi-fi they had advertised, so was unable to use it. But best buy was great about a refund and I'd certainly buy it again.

It does what it needs to do. I am using this on a really old computer so i cannot say if the devise makes the internet slow or the computer is just so old and slow. But it does that job and the internet connection is strong and consistent.

We had to get this WiFi adaptor because we got a new modem and did not have a jack for our old desktop. It works great. Very easy to install and is very small it is unnoticeable to most. Would purchase another one if o needed to.

This was purchased due to the wireless card dying in my laptop. It is a dramatic improvement over the oem wireless card. It has never lost connection and speeds are consistently fast. It also included a USB extender--nice bonus!! Highly recommended!

I was in need of an external wireless adapter because the on inside my laptop had been broken. Not only did this product replace what was broken it surpassed the performance and unlike the last adapter, this one did not drop the connection to routers. The convenience of being able to use this on any USB enabled device also comes in handy once in a while. I recommend this to anyone with a love for gadgets and if you have trouble with losing wifi signals.

Installed without a problem and connected to my wireless network just fine. A little on the big side (not one of the fingernail / pico sizes) but in this case, that was not an issue.

Easy setup but reception in my apartment was terrible even with a range booster on the modem... Great for an open office or for use in a WiFi cafe but only if close to router.

My network adapter inside my laptop quit working so I decided to buy one of these instead of replacing it right now. I have a netgear wireless router so I figured this netgear adapter would work best. Install was easy about 10 mins or less. The button and led indicator light are nice features, my only reason to not give it 5 stars is because of its size. It is very long and bulky. It does come with a support cradle but I don't think Id wanna use this adapter anywhere but at home

I am using this on a desktop computer on the main level of our house, but our wireless router is on the second floor. It works great. The signal strength is excellent even 1 floor away and the speed is wonderful. I do not have any complaints on how well it works. The only catch was when we set it up, it would not work immediately and my husband had to change some settings on the computer to make it work. It wasn't a huge deal and would not change my opinion of the product, but it did require a little know how to get it to work.

Today was the first day that it dropped the connection in over a month. It is definitely plug and play and allows us to have much better wifi throughout the house because we could move the router to a more central locatoin.

This adapter was a quick and easy setup. It connects great. I have no problem grabbing my routers 5g signal from upstairs.

We had this WiFi adapter in our home and it worked quite well. Unfortunately, it was intended for my son and he has since lost it. But, I will say that I will definitely be heading down to BestBuy again to purchase the same one!!

Solid wifi for average use. We are able to play some multiplayer games on it (Minecraft, Tekkit, Homeworld Remastered) with little/no lag. Connection is consistent too. Good product, especially for the price!

I made the mistake of buying a lenovo laptop (they blacklist all retail wireless adapters and include subpar equipment...so no upgrading). This adapter, while large and external, has saved me from having to go buy a new laptop.

It has been a while since I setup a network since I retired. And my first obstacle was the lack of a nic card in one computer. So after checking online and finding the market had changed drastically I went in pursuit of the so called easiest way to obtain the device. After I purchased and took in home and followed the instructions I was totally surprised at the ease to setup and use. The only thing I can say now is "Wow, what is next?"

Bought this for my son's new gaming computer rather than buying a wireless card. It has worked perfectly with no issues. And he would tell me if it' wasn't working well!

My Network card went out on my laptop. I needed something really fast to complete a project on time and could not afford delays with my laptop in the computer shop. So went to Best Buy, where I was told this device I easy to use and will work to get me through this issue. I downloaded the CD that came with; plugged in the Device; I had connection and have been using it ever since! I was told the NIC card in the laptop needs to be replaced (estimated at $250)... but this works great. Not sure I will get the NIC replaced after all.

I am using this device to turn a desktop computer into one that can connect to my wireless network. It works great, no degredation in service to my desktop.
