The device is easy to setup and connect to wifi. However it had a tendency to lose its connection. The connection tends to come back on its own but it is pretty annoying when streaming or downloading.

Makes for a good WIFI setup on a desktop without an internal WIFI card. The design of the unit does allow for it to be easly damaged by buping into it when sticking out of a USB port. I suggest using the USB extension cord that comes with the unit.

We needed to put a computer in the back bedroom, but the computer did not have a wireless adapter. So we decided to buy this device, it has worked great. We use the computer to Skype, play games, do homework, watch YouTube videos and much more. I have not found any issues with it.

We moved from an area where i could use my computer wired from the router. Our new home does not have that capability, so I was in need of a "network card" so now you know how old I am! This USB wireless connection is a great tool for me and I would buy another if needed.

This device was purchased for use in an office environment with no direct cable outlet. This product offered the solution without having the need to rewire the office for a cat 3 outlet. Internet speeds are more than adequate for business use needs (checking email, etc.).

I get poor wifi speed from my remote Comcast combined modem & router, so bought the NETGEAR wireless adapter. It gave significantly higher speeds, but not yet back to the speed I had when my modem was hard wired to my PC. Possibly I need an amp,

This adapter is several rooms away from the router, but the signal is "very good," and I have not had any problems. The only issue I've come across is that my computer doesn't like having the adapter plugged in when trying to "standby". It's a bummer, but no big deal.

I bought this to connect to the internet when the WIFI card was having difficulty. It solved the problem for awhile, but the computer failed in the meantime and as a result, nothing worked. It is a very handy device to connect to WiFi when all else fails.

I moved into an apartment with wireless already installed. Recently on my own, I had no idea that my computer was not enabled for wireless. The salesperson at Best Buy was extremely helpful. I inserted the wireless adapter and within minutes, was surfing again! Thanks, Best Buy.

We had no trouble connecting with the wireless adapter. We are using this as a backup to our cabled connection and were able to install the driver from the CD. It would be better if they built the driver into the device, but that was not a show stopper.

My first thoughts were doubtful but this works sometimes but not all the time. I like to add music to my iTunes and have to be online to get the info from the CD. This does not work when I want it to. However, I have been able to get online and play games on Facebook.

I bought this adapter to use on a Panasonic Viera to stream Netflix to my daughter's room. Plugged in, tv found the adapter, adapter found the network..that was it. Bought one for my computer as well, same. I have used Linksys adapters and my experience was frustrating at best.

Holds a good speed, but the connectivity is something to be desired. I have a linksys usb router that rarely looses connection, but this guy will randomly drop here and there.

The wireless antenna on my laptop continues to be spotty or slow (poor build?) and this one, basically plug-and-play, stepped in. My laptop incorporated it and I had no problem with wifi and internet thereafter. Cost is only one USB port.

Really don't have to many other choices for a desktop wifi Not always easy to connect to router if router is far like downstairs your running up and down to connect, can't they develop a device that connects automatically?

When I received my new router from my provider they did not tell me I had to upgrade my adapter. The salesman at Best Buy thought that this would fix my problems and so far it has.

I purchased this to fix my wife's internet connection on her desktop. The Ethernet NIP seems to have gone out and so she needed another way to connect to the network. Seems to work fine after I installed the software, no complaints.

The installation process was a little more difficult without a cd drive but other than that the product works great. Although every now and then it will lag when others in my household are also using the internet.
