Could never get this item to work.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Tried for two weeks including opening a case with Netgear. Nothing I tried nor anything they suggested worked. Instead of making a connection to the router, it would simply go off to never-never land. No error, no message, no connection. So I took the new cable that came with the new unit, downloaded a new driver from their site for my old Netgear USB Adapter that was always a little less enthusiastic than it needed to be, and reinstalled the older unit with the newer cable and driver. And now the older model works very well. It is much more robust than before, and once connected the connection is solid. So either it was the new cable or the new driver or both. I've got Netgear products for all my wireless. First time with any problems. So I've kept the newer unit because I used the cable from that product package. I've got an excellent connection with my older unit and I've got a $50 piece of electronics sitting on my desk that I could never make work.
