the netgear wireless router is a good router for my house the only problem is that when both of my kids are playing xbox live that it sometimes lags

This router replaced a router that was several years old with much less capacity. With the old router we could barely have two laptops connected at once and the signal strength was very weak throughout the house. We frequently lost connections. The new N600 router provides very good coverage with the 2.5 GHz band in a fairly large two-story home. The 5 GHz band has less range. The 2.5 GHz band coverage even extends outside to the patio area. The router supports many laptops, tablets, smartphones and a smart TV simultaneously. It was reasonably priced and has solved our connectivity problems. We use the router mainly for email and Internet access. We don't do much online gaming. The basic setup of the new router is easy. The default password is pretty strong so it encourages good security practices. You can't change the admin user name which would add another layer of security. I would like to see a little more detail in the setup describing the consequences of the various choices, e.g. how they might affect connectivity, security, etc.

wifi works as it should - we have had no problems. I am not sure what else you would have me say. t should do the job that is what it it designed for

How can you go wrong with Netgear. You decide what you need and then find the Netgear model that meets your requirements. They're always dependable!!

Easy fix for completing home wifi network with cable wifi. Wish the range was a bit larger so that it could be picked up better outside the house as well.

This is a great router and we have had no issues with it up to this point. It's perfect for internet surfing, netflix, and your everyday needs.

The product was fairly priced, easy to set up, but reception was not the greatest.

It states that it enables speeds up to 600 Mbps for efficient operation and I feel it does what it states.
