Apple Airport was acting up. Picked this up on sale and now I am considering buying an additional one to extend my network!

My old router gave up the fight and I needed a new one. My old one was also a netgear so I wanted to stay with something I knew worked great.

Overall I am pleased with the router. It was simple to set up and was up and running in about 20 min. The only bad part about it was if your router was manufactured a year or so prior to your purchase. You have to send in a email receipt showing when you bought it so you can use the helpline of netgear.

I haven't had any issues with connection speed or not receiving a signal. I use 4-5 devices using this router and I haven't had any problems.

it is an up grade from my old one and it operates a lot better. it has easily distinctive lighting.

I upgraded to this Netgear router after lightning fried my old D-Link. I was bummed to have to buy a new router, but the silver lining is that this was a definite upgrade. Setup and use are simple, and I can get a strong signal anywhere in my house. I haven't had this router drop the signal on me once. If you're looking for a router for your home network, this will work well.

This is my first experience with a router, and I knew nothing about them when I walked into Best Buy. The sales associate asked me a few questions about my needs and selected this Netgear product. He also wrote down detailed instructions about connecting it up. The hookup went perfectly, and the router has been perfect for my simple needs thus far.

I think that this a a great product if you know how to do computers bettter then I do. I have not got it hooked up yet or can't figure out what to do. I have gone on the help site have done everything it says but I can't get the WIFI to work or wanted my printer to print off the computer that doesn't happen either. I don't think it it the router it is more me. I am going to have to call someone or have someone come that is smart.
