I needed a new router and had limited time. Drove over to Best Buy just before closing; an associate directed me to the right aisle; told me which router would probably be best. I purchased the router and went to my Mom's house to install it. Total time: start to finish was about 45 minutes. Thank you Best Buy!

Wasn't paying attention to the fact this wasn't a router modem combo. Went back for a modem. Works great!

Geek Squad very helpful with information I needed to make the right choice for my needs. Installation was easy with step-by-step instructions, and preset password helped since my previous router was a real pain to set a password for. Quick and painless.

If you expect the router to support more than 3 devices, you may want to consider a more powerful unit.

Once I took it out of the box it was an easy setup and worked great. The users manual could be a little more descriptive, trying to figure out which button to push to add a device was a little confusing. Overall I'm very happy with it and I'm getting over twice the download speeds I was getting from my old router

I bought this router in order to increase the strength of the wireless signal , especially for my smart tv in the living room. After setting this up, i can stream movies and shows on netflix without any problems of buffering or locating wireless. Its a great router - easy to set up! Happy with the purchase.

This is my 2nd one I have purchased and will continue with this model for when I need a new one. No complaints.

I bought the NetGear dual-band router after I returned a router extender that just did NOT do the trick. The NetGear router was easy to install and has been working flawlessly ever since. We have multiple laptops and tablets in the household as well as several other wireless "users" (TVs, printers, Roku box).

This router would have been good for my home except it didn't offer the additional features I wanted.

This router is easy to set up and works great. It works well with Charter internet; in fact, the Charter installer recommended Netgear but I tried Apple and had problems. It's worked great since I installed the Netgear. The range could be better, but I live in a brick house so that may have an effect on the range.

easy to set up and use in an apartment. great reception, no problems. would buy another. priced great. actually had one before and purchased another for college child because mine has lasted a long time. i will let others know what a great deal.

I bought this modem to replace an older model that blew out due to a recent electrical storm. This modem is working great and has a very good range in my home. My laptop has no problem connecting from my den which is far away from the modem location. Great buy for the price.

I had to buy new router because my old die on me and I should have bought a net gear the first time around

Very easy to set up, my wifes nook did not work with my old router at all, with this new one is runs 2 PS3's, 4 phones, my PC, and the nook with no problem at all. It has worked great for us so far.

I did install it today I noticed if its running hot I drop connection and restart itself 2times strange.

I replaced an eight year old router that was not working. It took me some time to realize the internet access was stopped because of the router. I selected a dual range router with the capability of installation assistance from the supplier software. It worked very well once the instruction sequence was completed.

Bought this for my mom, who is not exactly tech savvy, so she could stream netflix to a new wifi blu way player I got her. She said it was easy to set up, and she was streaming in no time. Th router is in a different room, probably about 40 feet away from the blu ray, but it gets a strong signal. No complaints.

When lighting strikes and had destroyed my router, I got the same one again, because I like it, it's easy to install, the customer service line is awful, tech support is overseas, and filing a warranty claim,/troubleshooting was lengthy, over a hour to for them realize it was fried.
