Exactly what I needed for the price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I needed an inexpensive wifi router to travel with for work. I take this to jobsites to connect to switches and devices that do not have routers so I can configure them. It was easy to change the internal settings to what I needed and works great.

Trouble Free Installation
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Router works beautifully and was a breeze to install right out of the box. That is an improvement over earlier Netgear models I have had which could be troublesome to set up. Wireless range is good. I have it installed on the first floor and the signal is strong in all 2nd floor rooms.

Very Nice, great features for a home Wireless rtr
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this one because my internet throughput was way down and my ISP said their modem and service weren't the cause. So before I just fired them and got another ISP I decided to invest a few bucks in replacing my wireless router (about 5 years old). I picked the Netgear because it was a nice balance between throughput, up to date features and price. I was lucky - this one is a keeper. It has 2.4 and 5.0 gighz bands for wireless on a main channel for the home devices and a completely seperate channel for guests when they come over with a completely different password (and restricted access to the router software/firmware). The throughtput is back to the rated 50 - 250 Mb/Sec on each channel SO: I like this router and hopefully it will last a long as my last one did and

Very happy with this router.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My old WiFi router wouldn't keep my Kindle connected and the laptop was very slow. Fell down the stairs trying to get Kindle near the old router to reconnect (time for a better one). The router works great thru out the house and doesn't disconnect every 10 minutes.

Strong Signal
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought a router and cable model to replace my Xfinity setup and get rid of my 10 a month fee. This router has done more (improved my Netflix streaming on my smart TV). The only con is that I was not able to use a USB HDD as a Apple TimeCapsule for my MacBook.

great flat screen TV- great quality for the budget
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased the Insignia 19" LED TV. It's one of those lesser known brands that provides an excellent quality picture for those on a tight budget. It features all of the inputs you would ever require. Even the techno challenged will appreciate its easy set up.

Pleasantly surprised!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We hadn't updated our unit for 5 or 6 years. We were pleasantly surprised by the improvement in our wifi reception and all of the resets we were having to make. Set up was easy and directions were clear. Good value for the money.

Needed a quick fix during a buildout
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Our business class router had not yet arrived, and I needed something to use while setting up the remainder of the network. Picked this up in a pinch and was not disappointed. Easy to setup (granted being used by IT professionals) and did its job well for the 2 weeks we required it.

Okay
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Unfortunately, this does not always work. I thought it would work perfectly well in my tiny apartment, but a few times during a netflix movie or listening to the radio online, it stops working and a window pops up indicating that I lost the connection. I purchased it a few months ago and can't exchange it for a better one at this point.

Netgear Router
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I recently replaced an Apple Airport that fried out after about 14 months of use. The MediaCom service guy came out to troubleshoot our internet and showed me that it wasn't the cable internet or their modem causing the problem. He picked up the Apple Airport and dropped it like it was red hot. I touched it and it was extremely hot. I wonder if continued use of this router would've been a fire hazard? So off to the Best Buy to replaced the router. The sales guy was pretty smart when it came to routers. He suggested several after asking what all I needed to run over the wi-fi in my house. We settled on this Netgear model and I came home to set it up. It was a breeze getting internet back on 3 laptops, 1 Apple iMac desktop and 3 ipads. Its been in use for about a month and it seems to be working pretty good. I can sit in the garage and use my laptop with no problem. It just seems as if it takes just a little bit longer to get movies to stream smoother than it did before. I'll update as time goes on.

Easy installation
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is the third router I've had the opportunity to set up. This was the easiest installation! We have had no problems with the router. I did need help getting my printer wired through the router to be recognized but most likely user error, on line chat resolved the issue quickly
