This the best router for home use. Reliable connection and has good range.

First time purchasing a Netgear router. Have always used Linksys with great satisfaction. This Netgear router was so easy to set up. Instructions were minimal, but so were the steps. The only unclear instruction had to do with removing the Modem battery before restarting it. This turned out to be discouraged by Comcast, and unnecessary when I called Netgear Tech Support. I hope they will fix or clarify that detail. Tech Support stayed on the phone with me while I finished installation, but it was truly unnecessary. This router sets up easily and quickly. No codes or settings to choose or figure out, as with previous (older) routers. Other than that, the router works great, better coverage in my house than I had before. It is discouraging that Netgear provides phone support for only 90 days. After that you pay. Unfortunately, this is the case for so many companies.

It was easy to install and it has great range around the house

This dual band router solved our issue of being kicked out of Netflix every 20 minutes. Set it up and have not had a problem since. We also had a great sales associate who listened to our issue, pointed us to the right product and made sure we knew that we could return it if it didn't solve the problem.

I did not know a router's signal strength could be affected by a home having multiple levels and by possessing multiple Wi-Fi devices. This model works well not only for a multilevel home, but also having multiple Wi-Fi enabled devices in the home.

I am very pleased with how easy and quick this was to setup. It works great.

Easy installation great price easy to work with will recommend to a friend

My last router was problematic, forcing me to reset it 2-3 times a week. I've had this one a month now without a single disconnect. It was incredibly easy to set up as well. Not to mention that its signal extends all the way to the parking lot 100 feet away.

I have been needing a new router for awhile now. I had been using an old Linksys for about 9 years. It had been giving me intermittent connection issues but I just hadn't felt the need to purchase a new one. After a recent upgrade at work I felt I needed a dual band router to take advantage of some speeds my newer devices could use, plus we now have so many more devices using the wireless. I am glad I did. The setup was as easy if not easier than my old and trusty Linksys, once I got used to navigating the UI. So far it has been rock solid. My son has complained of a few connection issues on his Xbox, but I think it may be his Xbox acting up as no other devices are having issues. I put the price as a pro and a con. It's not pricey, but at the same time it's not a cheap router. I feel $49 would be a better suited price but in the coming months I am sure it will come down.

Helps make Internet faster and easily installed in no time

This router is easy to install if you don't have any odd interface needs. It ran all my devices with no hitches except for my laptop (XP). Roku, Android phones, VOIP phone system, printers, wired and wireless, and Samsung tablet all worked great. Many calls with Netgear support were fruitless in solving the laptop problem which took about a month to solve. At one point the settings on the router had been changed so much that it locked up, and Netgear had to swap it for a new one!. Finally a Netgear support person figured out that the router had to be set up with a designated DNS address rather than auto select. That finally stabilized the Internet connection (5G) and have had no problems since.

This is excellent router. It has really good range. Also it is Easy to set up and space saving. Just love this router. We are using tv, Phones, laptop and tablet at same time. Really good connection and signals.!!!

Router was really easy to set up. Router is functional for a small office

This wirless n-router is what powers my whole house electronics and I would say it has done a good job. My last netgear router was also an N router but got fried in a power outage. This one has done well and allows me to use all wireless connections in my house. definitely a plus, since I play online games and stream netflix and it all works without much interruption usually.

Router works great in my living room. Easy to setup and get started.
