Bought this NETGEAR RangeMax due to my old Wifi disconnecting on me (and NOT wanting to reconnect). I was NOT looking forward to connecting another wifi router - having been through that hell at least twice. Connecting the RangeMax was SO simple - seriously - I was stunned. And I've STAYED connected. This puppy rocks. AND - it ROCKS FASTER than my old connection!!

Fast and Easy to Install couple mins and your ready to go with wifi

I needed to buy certain things when setting up my new place and it was overwhelming and confusing and this was one of those products that helped make it easier. Great reviews and it is a great price for why it provides too!

Great router for the price easy to set up was up and running quickly

Ordered this on Saturday from CCV with free shipping, and it arrived on the following Tuesday. No installation CD needed for setup. Came with a unique Netgear password so did not need to change it. It is dual channel, one channel is slower for older computers, and the other is a faster one for later models and iPhone 5's. Installation instructions were detailed and easily followed. Firmware updates were available and no trouble to install. Minor detail - insrtructions say to go to Maintenance > Firmware Updates, but there is no Maintenance button on the page. You have to look for a button that essentially says click to update firmware. Range is better than the 6-year old Netgear it replaced. There is a USB port that the instructions say you can plug a flash drive into and download its data to other devices on the net. Router has an On-Off button. On initial startup, wait for the specified lights to come on before connecting to the modem and computer. I'm very satisfied, so far.

This router does what it is supposed to do. It was not difficult to install. I believe it to be faster than the old model I had. It stays connected and has a good range in a 1800 sq foot home.

Bought this to replace an old Netgear router that had been in service for about 6 years. This device is awesome. Set up is a snap, and the admin control panel gives you access to great advanced features, granular management and control and just an amazing array of options usually found in more highly priced devices. Offers dual network options so you can run a lower-speed guest network as well as a 5G network. Accessing devices can auto-sense the network that best meets their capabilities. Latest IEEE standards offer just amazing performance. No need to get more expensive or extravagant! This product offers darned near everything you might want.
