Good router for the cost

Works Fine

The "Guest Network" is handy. However, I was under the impression that devices could connect to both the router's 2.4Ghz and the 5Ghz signal at the same time, to achieve the advertised 600Mbps throughput. However, devices will only connect to one frequency or the other, with the result that they're limited on half of the advertised throughput. Note that this isn't a flaw with the router, but with how the devices that connect to it are designed.

Great Router for Price and Performance
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I needed a new wireless router because our old one was several years old and started to "cut out" on us when using the internet, watching Netflix, and/or using our Smart Tvs. So I started looking and saw the Netgear had gotten good reviews. I purchased this during their Black Friday sale 2013 and I am very happy with my purchase. No more loss of connection, no issues with Smart TVs being unable to recognize the connection and signal is good in every part of our single level house. The set up was easy and fast.
