The smallest wireless router by netgear

It's only 1/2 lb + energy efficient. It has dual band but the range is not great. My microwave will disrupt the 2.4Ghz band so use the 5Ghz band for your devices (if available) It's wireless N after all I would buy a Netgear AC router if they can make something as small as this. Routers will be on 24/7 so having one that is energy efficient is ideal.

Big Upgrade

Bought this N router backward compatibility for G Adapters. Immediately made my G Adapters more responsive with better range. Will be buying a N PCI internal Network Adapter (w/antennas). I Tried the USB domaflochys and they do not have any credability and no Range
