I went to this router because I upgraded my internet speed but the signal strength is weak. I have a two story home and I could go anywhere in my house with my old router and have a good to excellent signal. With this router I can't even get a signal upstairs. I am going to have to buy a network extender or return this one and see if there is a router with better signal strength available.

My router (with Verizon) was acting up once again. Bought this item because of my large home. A Geek member came and installed it along with the original device. Almost a month later, my original router acted up again so I worked with Verizon who reconfigured the darn thing and told me I do not need the Netgear item which is no longer used. My problem from the beginning is the all-in-one device through my phone company. I will keep the Netgear so my son can upgrade his systems.
