The box stated range for a "medium to large house." My house is 1150 square feet. I had an old lynksys wireless router from 2000 and it had a better range. I am very disappointed. For your info- I have one cell phone connected to wifi and two tv's with direct tv. I rarely use my laptop and if I do, my signal strength with all 4 products is awful AND my router is roughly 10 feet from me (the phone) and my main TV. With my old router, I could sit in my backyard or my porch and still get a signal...that is not the case with this router. My phone is constantly connecting to 3G and it's frustrating.

There were others that were more expensive but this one does the job well st a great price.

I bought this to replace an old Airport Time Machine. The set up was fairly simple and connectivity was fast. The problem came in when I began connecting my devices. By the time I connected all 20+ devices, my connection speed slowed down to the point of constant interruptions of streaming my television programs. Probably not a problem for someone that only has a few devices to connect. I returned it and got an Airport Extreme which is working great.

I love the router. Works great with Google internet
