    Net gear is a part of our family. That may sound weird but the router we had that this one replaced was a Netgear that we have had for about 10 years! When it failed it was due to human error not the router's fault! There was no way I was going to swap to another brand when Netgear has proven they produce high quality, reliable equipment.

    My old router was replaced because of inconsistency in out put. I was able to go to best buy purchase the new router bring it home and hook if up.I did need help registering it. but all in all I was pleased with the product and is't functionality. I did try to call netgear and no one ever answered the phone.
