It was easy to set up. The range seems to be very good. I upgraded from an N300. My directv was buffering with some on demand shows. Now it seems that problem has gone.

I got tired of paying my cable company to rent their modem every month, so I went to Best Buy's website and found this. It has met my expectations fully and performs perfectly! I would recommend this to anyone looking to save a few dollars

Needed a better router because my old one "non-dual band couldn't keep up with our usage (ps3 Netflix, desktop, tablet, 3ds and smart phones and wireless printer) but I did go to walmart an bought a cheap dual band and it was horrible (my fault for going to walmart for electronics lol) so I went online with best buy and tried this one. It was simple to set up and so far all is great, signal is always strong no dropped connections do far. Easy to set up the security features too. Definitely worth the money!

Needed this item fast so I could access my Internet. Went to the store, brought it home and plugged it in. Easy set up and started right away. I have had it about a month or so and no complaints. I live in about an 1100 sq. Ft. Home and it reaches everywhere.

This is on the low end of routers need it comes to price so I wasn't expecting the world out of it from the start. If you are looking for a user friendly router for the home then this one will be just that. The netgear genie is an easy setup system for even first timers to use. Overall it's a good product for the money. The con would be the distance it stays connected. My old linksys would reach across the street and have a strong signal where this one gets lost as I walk out the door.

After a long time of experiencing dropped internet connection with my Belkin N+ router, it finally stopped working. Went to my local Best Buy and after some very informative information about Netgear routers from the Best Buy associate, selected this unit. Got it home, set up was easy, got office wireless network connected without any problems. 1 modem, 2 iPhones, 1 iPad, 2 laptops and 1 printer all connected to my desktop PC and working great. Seems faster, and the best thing, no more internet dropping out several times a day. This alone was worth the purchase...no more system reboots to get connectivity several times a day.

For the price, this is an awesome wifi router. I live in a small apartment but I have quite a lot of devices from Xbox to Google Home. So I needed something with good range and space efficient design. Did the job and no complaints here.

Bought this for my mother in law to replace a linksys router than didn't hold a signal. Since install, haven't had an issue with connection so it is doing its job. Are there faster routers out there, sure, but for the price this works just fine for light use

I got this router for my fiance's parents because they still had a b/g only router. SO i brought them into this century. They used to have issues with losing connectivity or not getting signal in certain areas of the house but they do not have those issues anymore

My Netgear router was super simple to install. The performance is excellent. We can run all our devices at the same time without a problem: 2 computers, 2 smartphones and 2 tablets. I would definitely recommend any Netgear product and this router in particular.

This router was recommended to me at Best Buy when I was looking for something to work well with Comcast internet. I've been using it for a month now and so far I have no complaints. Seems to be a very solid router, and it's nice to not have to rent from Comcast!

Purchased this router to replace my WRT54GL from Linksys. Needed a router that can provide good Wi-Fi signal for PS4 gaming, video streaming, PS3 streaming, multiple phone devices, and this one does the job. I've had no problems with it and the 5GHz is very fast.

My second Netgear Rangemax in 3 years. Easy to install and operate and it maintained its speed with 7 devices connected at once. The new Genie software is also a big plus as we have 4 kids in the house and I was constantly looking for easy (and cheap) parental control software . Genie works great, can be controlled from the ipad and best of all, its free! The only downside is that routers are now a commodity so when they work they work great, but when they fail, which could happen at any time, you're going to have to fork out for a replacement. If this puts you off consider the insurance for additional peace of mind.

I purchased this router to replace a prior dual band Linksys router which had served well, but was malfunctioning. This provides good coverage over my 2 story home. Setup was straightforward - within the realm of a network novice, with WFS setup. Full manual not included - can download from website. Guest network setup is very good. My only complaint is that you cannot simultaneously sign on to both 2.4 and 5.0 Ghz bands; but essentially have 2 separate networks. Both networks work well; preserve the 2.4 network for my older devices; 5Ghz for all newer devices.

Got this to upgrade my decade old router and to increase range in our two-story house. Was easy to install and now get much better signal, even outside!

I've used many different routers over the years, but when I found this one my search for the perfect router is over. Setup couldn't be easier and the range is better than any other of my previous routers. This one provides a strong signal even at the far end of the house which used to be a dead spot. I've lost 2 of these so far due to lightening strikes but when I've needed a replacement I don't even consider any other. You will not be disappointed with this router - I promise!

My roommate isn't the most tech savvy person and was able to have this up and running in a matter of minutes. I have moved it's location within my apartment a couple of times as I was moving in and have not had any issues with it.

Bought this router to use with TWC modem for home wifi. House is about 1500 sf, range is no problem. Easy setup, no issues with connection or having to reset so far.

I'm very happy with this router. It was easy to install, didn't cost a lot, and it doesn't drop the internet like my old router did. I also like the small size.

Very good product for the price, the connection is fast, the range is good, and I have had no issues streaming videos.
