Had trouble with wifi reaching my son's room due to getting heavier bedroom furniture. Crazy, but true! Great reception, no dragging!

The intructions for home setup are vague and I needed geek squad help to complete setting up my network. 2 printers, 2 tablets, laptop and desktop.

This product works great for my purpose. I do not stream movies, however for normal internet access at home it works great.

Replaced another unit because the old unit just wasn't doing to job handing all of our wireless equipment. This unit handles everything with ease.

It's fine. Buy this router is you want something that will do exactly what it advertises all the time.

Does a good job. I generally get internet throughout the house. Sometimes is a little spotty, but just needs to be reset.

If you have a big house I would recommend the 5. My house is 2100 square feet and I have a little trouble sometimes on the edges of the property.

I purchased this and in just under a month the Ethernet port that allows my modem to connect to this router failed. It happened after a storm, but there was not a power outage or surge that we could detect and everything else that is plugged into the same power strip is functioning perfectly. So it could just be my luck. I purchased this one after the one we had for a year did the same thing and we didn't feel like paying $100 to extend our tech support when $80 could fix the issue immediately. (Even though they say they have a 2-year limited warranty, the tech support people who approve the RMAs will apparently only talk to you for the first 90 days after purchase) NetGear has good reviews and seemed to be a reliable brand but less than 30 days and this one failed. And after an hour and a half of talking to the guy with tech support who kept insisting that if I just waited the Internet light would turn on(never did) he gave me an RMA and I discovered that I have to either pay at least $17 to have then send the replacement and get it sent back within 10 days or have then charge the cost of the router plus a $20 fee, or send the defective one back and wait and then have them send one. So either way I'm out a router for the next few days and I'm not happy.

Bought this to use in my apartment and was pleased with the signal. Could use wifi in any room without any problems.

You can't go wrong with Netgear wireless. Ordered online and product was ready for pickup at the local Store within the hour.
