I don't think there is much difference between routers and this one has worked so far. Nothing special though. How special can they be?

The first one i bought stopped working and i had to return it for a new one. Maybe it was just that particular router but hopefully the new one will last long

Good item but depending where you place the router in the house, depends on the reception. Keep close range for all devices.

I could have never hooked this up. I had to have very knowledgeable person with computers connect this for me

Had hoped we would get better wifi reception thoughout the house but only a small improvement over previous router

It worked okay when in close proximity, but couldn't cover the 3000 sq. ft. area. I ended up exchanging it for a different brand that does the job very well.

Not real happy. Very low performance, spend the extra money and upgrade.

I have Comcast and my Internet speed is generally around 50Mbps but through the wireless router it maxes out around 25Mbps. After 3 weeks of trying to fix it I have to send it back. While Netgear will replace it, there is a decent sized charge for them to send you a new router before they receive the old one. They will swap it for free if you send it back first but they say it takes up to 10 days to process. Sounds like I will be without a router for a while.

After all I have not installed it so far since it did not come with a USB and that's what I need in order to use it..so it's just sitting there

Decent enough router, might be my internet connection but sometime the wifi gets a bit choppy.

I bought it because I have a big house and wanted to put it on the first floor. It was worthless as the range sucked.

I needed a new router. for my laptop.this was suggested by a sales men. It had good reviews. said I would go wireless, also said it would speed up my computer. I still cannot go wireless. I have to have my laptop plugged into the router. When I unplug it I get no internet connection. So I cannot move my laptop around. It has to stay plugged in. So am very disappointed in this. I followed directions, even redid twice still no internet connection..

I was told to upgrade my router to reach my new smart TV but this one works no better than my old one. Should have stuck with what I had.

Was told to purchase this item from tech guy but returned it and went with the one the sales person recommended.

Basic. Spend a little more to get something better. Also customer service for the product is terrible.

It didn't seem to cover the whole area until I had internet speed & modem upgraded but I guess it works ok.

The only problem I have found is that the signal isn't as strong in the back of my home. Only 1 bar just 75 feet away through 2 walls.

I got a good price on the router and wanted to upgrade my older one with this one. I was told that it would provide a stronger and faster signal. Wifi signal was constantly being interrupted and would need to be reset. I kept it for a few days and tried to reinstall it but had no luck with the signal. I took it back and decided to look for a different model.

Doesn't have the distance capabilities I was hoping it would. When I'm downstairs I only get 1 or 2 bars. With my old one I'd get 4.

The older model I had was a lot faster, this one was a little more expensive, but if I had to buy over again I'd get a different model.
