Router that can keep up
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We have a LOT of electronics in out household, including two desktop computers, two laptops and one of each of the newest gaming devices. This router has kept up with every one of them. We also used to have a problem when we turned on the PS3 it turned off everything else, this router has made that problem obsolete, so when I want to watch Netflix via the PS3 I don't have to worry about kicking my husband off of his MMO. Over all we have had nothing but good experience with it. The only thing that was a little stressful was the setup. It wasn't too difficult, but we did have to run through the lengthy process twice before we could figure it out. Overall, still well worth the money we spent on it. Also, we had been looking at buying a much more expensive router, since we didn't know exactly what would meet our needs, and the clerk at the store was very helpful and saved us a lot of money.

First time set-up was very easy. Works great!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This was the first time install for a wireless router. I was surprised how easy it was, although I found a minor mistake I had made initially. I brought it home and had it set up that evening. Since then, it's worked like a charm in a large home, stone building, in a usually "spotty" reception area. I'm really pleased.

Covers many units at once at a great price
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We upgraded because our previous router kept shutting down when the grandkids came over and were using their IPads, Ipods, xbox etc. This unit set up easy, carefully following the instructions, and have not had a problem since. It also just looks cool.

Quick install & faster speeds!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Comparing this to a Linux, I like the netgear a lot more. I'm using a wireless connection 24/7 unlike my roommates. And I would have trouble with the Linux once & awhile. Ether internet would be slow, or I would have to disconnect the wireless connection & reconnect it to make it work right. And I would have to rest the Linux router once & awhile as well. No problem with the netgear. And it has made my connection a lot faster as well. Setting it up was a breeze. Just connect everything, no disc to use, & enter the info needed & I was on my way to the digital surf land! Don't really have anything bad to say about it. Just the cables they provide was a bit short. But that's with any that you would buy.

Not to bad but not for the price
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I live with family and we had an old linksys router that needed to be changed out so we picked up this netgear one. Nothing wrong with this one and has done well but the range can be limited for not having any boost or antenna. The price for this router in my book is a tiny bit high where I think it should be around $55-65. Over all i am happy with this router but look into a router with antenna(s) if you have a good size house or buy boosters.

Good Buy
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It is good Router with nice performance. I am don't have any issue when connected to network. Speed is good. Only thing that I am not able to find how to change the network name or password. This one comes with predefined name and password that is good for some but I like to change it and so far not able to do it.

Perfect for a lower price point router
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I needed a new router to reach out on my back deck but didn't want to spend a lot for it. I decided to try this one out and loved how easy it was to set up. Glad I decided on this one! It's got a nice look and works just great, love the guest option too, nice way to control who has your password. :)

It a good product. I recommend it to a friend.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It is a value for price product. We've been using this for a month or so. We connect around 4 laptops to it.. and never faced any issue with the speed or performance. There is considerable improvement in speed we observed compared to our old router.

Excellent Router
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I recently replaced a router due to increasing disconnects and so far have no issues with this product. i have a PC and Vonage modem connected to two of the LAN ports (and use QOS for Vonage and I've had no problems thus far). Also run multiple wireless devices (laptops, iMac, iPod, Android phone, Wii, Directv) with either G or N. I really like the traffic monitor feature that allows you to monitor the GB of data used on a monthly basis (since ISPs are starting to gage your usage) and we download movies through Directv or Amazon VOD. The interface is easy to use and understand. Better than others I've had in the past. After many router purchases, the phrase you get what you pay for I think applies well here. It did extend the range for my wireless G devices in my house. And for those who can't figure it out - you can turn off the lighted dome by tapping it once.

Great value, performance and easy to set up
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This Netgear N600 replaced my 6-year old wireless router. This router is not only less expensive than my previous router, but it's faster and so much easier to set up. A big thanks goes out to the Best Buy associate who assisted me in my decision.

Great Product!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have to say I'm coming from a netgear 150n wnr1000 and we live in a apartment complex. Recently we noticed that theirs 20 or more wireless networks in the building and was experiencing issues with connectivity with that router. So we looked into a dual band to help out and might I add we're able to access with this router with no issues at all, it has 3 ssid's you can set up, 1 for a 2.4 ghz, 1 for 5 ghz, and even a guest set up so you don't have to worry about guest coming over and asking for passwords and what have you. I've only owned it for a day and this is the best router I've ever had. I've had 3 of the lower class netgear router, but this is a reasonable price and the best I've tested.

Great Product for the price
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This router works great for me as I use it with the Netgear Universal WiFi Internet Adapter to connect my Samsung BluRay, Samsung 46"LCD, and my DirectTV HD DVR (all of these products downstairs) and my router is upstairs in my office with the door closed. Excellent signal and no interruptions--Have streamed Netflix movies using my BluRay and works great! No problems at all here!

Great buy!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My wife and I purchased this router after our old netgear stopped sending a wireless signal. Our old router was several years old. This new router was easy to intsall and we love the performance. The best feature is the dual band. So when we are both online with our laptops we do not split the signal.

Excellent Product, Very Happy
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am new to wireless networking. I recently bought a Lenovo G560 laptop and needed a wireless router. I did a lot of research on Best Buy.com and Cnet.com and Amazon.com and decided on this Netgear Wireless router. Without a doubt the best value out there!! I'm getting 72 Mbps with excellent signal strength all over my 1500 sqft single story house. I have Cox internet and a Motorola modem that is supposed to give me only 38 Mbps. Setup was much easier than anticipated. Only one issue comes to mind, and that is the USB port on the router is for EXTRA STORAGE ONLY- like a portable hard drive. I thought I could use it for an older model printer I have, but it didn't work.
