Had the previous linksys router. The one that had the antenna's inside and looked like a space ship. My Set up: Cable Modem -to- wireless router-to-16 port switch-to- computer/gaming/printer/everything in my house MAN! having the linksys router was THEE WORST THING I ever experienced. I would loose service at LEAST 1 a week. Have to go to my basement reset it and wait about 5 mins for everything to upload. Had this router for almost 4 months now. NEVER glitched on me NEVER lost connection NEVER had to call customer service. AWESOME product because it's very reliable in what it's suppose to do. Got my linksys switch attached to it. Can't wait to switch that guy out. But switches are switches. You can't really make them wrong. BUT the router...man linksys def. lost a customer. NEVER going back.

The router itself is great--easy installation,easy to follow instructions, and great range.I have neighbor 2 doors down that is able to connect with no problem and gets 4-5 bars of reception. However all the good does not make up for the bad customer service from Netgear.They farm out their customer service to India or the Philippines and when your call is connected it is impossible to hear,understand,or carry on conversation in all attempts--I tried 3 times then gave up. What ever happened to BUY AMERICA ??? Please do not buy this unit or any Netgear product until they switch back to a help center in the USA.Remember---BUY AMERICAN !!!!!

Works great without any issues. Truly plug and play simple! It is good for it's price.

I had an old B router and it finally bite the dust after several years. It was an NetGear. I wanted another netgear since the last one worked so well and lasted a long time. I am very happy with this N router. My distance has increase as well as my speed with my wireless USB ( also from Netgear. )

Had a little issue getting it to connect to both my laptops. I had to manually input the passcode. But, on the flip side the router connected automatically to my printer and wifi blu-ray player using the WPS switch. Router works great. Bought it to replace a Linksys router that was failing and got to the point that the signal was dropping so often that I couldn't get on the internet more than half the time.

Net-gear has done it again with the range-max dual-band. It allows for 2.4 ghz and 5 ghz wireless connection for speeds up to 600 mbps on the new standard wireless-N technology. Basically better and faster connection to wireless ready devices. Also sports 4 Ethernet ports for those who need to be plugged in for more speed.

i never wrote a review on any product i bought. but this product is excellent! i bought it today easy to hook up. i spent a little bit more for the netgear model but its well worth it

My new interactive TV could not connect to my old router as it was a few years old. This new router not only let my TV connect but the range for my laptop now goes out to our back yard and the speed on all our pc's is significantly faster when on the internet. Its like we have NEW PC's.

This product is fairly easy to install and works great. We get good coverage in a 2 story house. I did have trouble changing the security password and ended up using the one installed on the router. It works fine, just not easy to remember. Overall we are very happy with the product.

I absolutely love this router! My previous router gave me wireless speeds up to 54mbps, with this Router I am currently connected via wireless @ 130mbps! The installation is basically as simple as unbox, plug and play. The wireless is even pre-setup with the login and password info clearly labeled on the sticker so you can plug it into to power and modem and jump right online! I have always been a fan of Netgear but this has made me a fanatic! I would strongly recommend this for normal, family house hold use (internet browsing, video/audio calls/chat, multimedia streaming/downloading, and online gaming. My PS3 works great for all my online multiplayer games! Will not regret this purchase! Works great with Wireless N or G cards and @ both wireless frequencies!

Have had this router for over a year now and has done what it said it would do.

Set it up as a router behind my ATT 2701 2Wire router/modem. Chose the N600 over going with a WiFi extender. Works great -get the extension I needed along with the dual channels. Answered two issues with one solution. Advice from the Best Buy associate on the floor was right on.

Just bought and installed it, so don't have much experience with it yet. But it seems to offer reliable connections and reasonable speeds for my home, a ranch with about 1,200 square feet. It's only a basic router, but it meets my needs nicely without breaking the bank.

I looked at buying an Apple Extreme Router, however, after reading the reviews posted, I decided to buy. Save half of the price. I'm a die hard Apple user, but this router is great, affordable, and easy to use.

The router was stocked whereas the one we wanted was not. Went ahead and got it as the wait for the other was a week. Otherwise the router was easy to install, configure, and use. If it's on your "what about this one" list, I would say you'll have no trouble and great computing.

I bought this N600 dual router on black friday for an amazing price.It is easy to install.It works great. All my laptop,apple iphone,asus tablet and panasonic wifi blu ray player all of which I bought from Best buy works great with this router.I am totally satisfied with it.

Definitely would purchase again. Great range (have laptop upstairs that gets a great signal) and I cannot remember when I had something computer oriented to set up that was this EASY! Literally three clicks and done!

This router is fantastik! It is super easy to set up. I told the clerk we had three computers and online xbox and he suggested this one. The price was very reasonable and we are very pleased with it. five stars!

This is my second netgear wireless router; the first one was awesome and lasted more than 5 years! I decided to purchase a second router, this time an n600 instead of a n300. I'm very happy with my purchase; however, I have to admit, I don't see much difference in performance. Maybe its my set-up. All-in-all I think this a good product and would give it a 4.5; however, I suggest reading the back of the box before you go with the n600, you might be better off with the n300.
