This is by far the best router that I have ever bought...had Belkin ones previously and there is no comparison, the NETGEAR one rocks!!! Set up took like 3 minutes.

Purchased Netgear because 3 year old Belkin died. Was going to get another Belkin but after talking and comparing with store clerk, decided on the Netgear. Great price and it Works fast!!! The Netgear router worked great for about 3 months. Could not get internet connection. Called Netgear and they told me to take back to Best Buy for a replacement. Netgear Customer Support was great! ( Did have one person who didn't call me back though). Working great so far!! Called Support when setting up new one since I received a strange message and they helped me set up everything. Would purchase Netgear again.

This router has very good signal, not too costly, easy to install and use. Signal strength is excellent for internet access as well as security funtionality. I would definitely recommend this wireless router to others.

I use this to provide wireless service throughout my house. I am streaming movie services and using multiple handheld devices and multiple gaming systems. Seems to work well. The range is not quite as good as the previous netgear I had that got hit my lightening but still covers 95% of the house and full strength.

I mainly got this to work with my Roku, streaming video. It installed very easily, connected to my computer without a problem. It would be nice if the serial numbers weren't so small that I needed a magnifying glass to read them...however I have no problem with playback on my TV, there are no hitches in the playback, no slowdown, or image issues (better than my cable connection, actually). It has never dropped the connection, frozen, or anything else. It does emit a blue glow all the time, so if you like to turn out the lights for movies, you'd need to cover the side, the feet allow it turn on end, so it doesn't take up a lot of room. I can't speak to range, as this is set up about 4 feet away from my Roku box, which is the only device on my network.

I bought this router because I wanted a router with a USB port so I could attach a hard drive. I have several computers both wired and wireless, a wired network printer, several wireless cameras and I stream Netflix to my wireless blue ray player. I added a Seagate 1 TB hard drive to the router USB which I am using to record the cameras and also share files. So far this router has handled all that with no problem at all. One of the main reasons I chose this over the Linksys is configuration is easily handled through a browser without having to work thru additional software installed on a computer.

I had an old out of date Netgear unit. So I got help installing this from the local neighborhood tech guy (family friend) over a month ago. So "ease of installation" is second hand info. He said it was quite simple. Anyway-----I placed this next to a modem in my hard wired ethernet DSL connected main desk top home office area. There is a moderate speed desktop unit working eighty feet and two bedroom walls away, and a top of the line Apple lap top working at a substantially higher speed in a BASEMENT,.-- through a floor and three walls. The laptop works up on the second floor, and outside all the way around the house on the porch. So well, in fact, I would definitely install the PRIVACY restriction at set-up time. Absolutely no problem. Everyone is happy.

Bought this router and the "Motorola - SURFboard DOCSIS 3.0 High-Speed Cable Modem" at the same time for a new home. House is smallish -- about 1,350 square feet. Installation was very easy and has worked flawlessly. Reception is excellent throughout the house and good over the entire property, which is 50' x 150'. I haven't tested the full range, but access over the property is all I need. It's common for us to have two computers, a smart phone and a VoIP telephone connected at the same time, and there has never been a problem with connectivity. I'll admit that there seems to be a slight response time delay relative to connecting directly to the modem, but I suspect this is normal. Someone please comment if this guess is not correct.

I can't believe i didn't spend the extra money sooner, I had the model below this one in a 3 floor condo, using a ipad and 2 other computers on, and it would always lose signal, I went to best buy and asked one of the salespeople what they recommend. He suggested this one and I can't believe it took me so long. Its amazing great signal strength, and the ease to set was incredible. No calls to tech support which makes me happy.

This router was easy to install. Worked first time out of the box. Wireless range was good though out the entire house. Speed of communications was at maximum for 802.11n. Many setup options using manual setup.

Nice styling, very simple setup that is running two computers, a printer, and a game system. My children like visiting and simply sitting down with their laptops and accessing our wifi. Stored in a bedroom closeout, it doubles as a soft nightlight with the door open to the bedroom. I knew the product I wanted, but felt awkward going to the store. First wifi and had no practical knowledge except what I picked up from a couple of web pages. As I stuttered the specs I wanted, the salesmen were very helpful and led me to the very product I hoped to buy. A great experience overall.

although it took more time than anticipated to install the router, I would consider it all too successful with the assistance of the tech sppt line. the person who helped with the installation over the phone was patient and extremely knowledgeable. he asked questions and explained each step well. the reason we purchased a new router was to extend the range of coverage of WiFi in a two story home. mission accomplished.

Bought two of these routers in the Thanksgiving sale. Set them up in two different houses. It is a great wireless router with easy setup and excellent range.

I bought this router a while back when I had to connect some computers, but couldn't go with hard-wiring. Because it supports the "n" band, there is less chance of collision with other routers. I can transfer files at about 3MB per second wi-fi, and probably the bottleneck is my portable and not the router. Hooking up devices is super-easy. Type in a password, and push the big blue button. I have all our iPod's, iPads, iPhones, iMac, PC's, laptops running off this thing. When my sister needed a router for her house, I bought another one, and it works great for them too.

So far, so good. Works great in my large home. Replaced a Netgear router that failed, but this one works much better!!

This NetGear router set up quickly and has been performing well from the first minute forward. Previous Cisco routers did not interface well with new Windows 8 computer. No one could explain that.

This Netgear n600 is really good, the range expands really far for my large home. The speed is really fast with no lags when my brother plays the ps3. The price was alright, but it was really worth it!

Being an online game player internet speed is important to me. So far I have not noticed a slow down in sopeed since going wireless. Was very easy to install, only complaint is that it was a little pricey.
