The initial set up was easy until I tried to get on to the internet. After several attempts to use the FAQ section on the Netgear web site I finally called for tech support. Took two calls and the repair script did not cover the possibility that a router was delivered set to block internet access 24/7. The second support person got me close enough on the router set up to see the issue so I could correct it. Works like a charm and I especially like the guest access but do use a distinctly different password for it rather than the one supplied with the router.

This was extremely easy to set up. Just have to follow the instructions which are are easy to understand and follow. Works great!

This router has excellent range. I have a mid-sized home with multiple wireless devices (DVRs, computers, etc.) throughout it. With this router, I can use my multiple devices simultaneously, and still enjoy a strong signal and great speed on each device. I highly recommend this router.

It works great and was easy setup. I replaced a Belk router that had laid down. Best Buy allowed me to return it and step up to Netgear router.

This is a very easy to setup and use WiFi router. It has a wizard mode that will walk you through all the steps, or you can bypass and go into advanced settings. The range of the WiFi is greatly increased, even over the same product from 2 years ago.

i bought this router because the one i had from AT&T was to slow, i can tell the difference with this new router, it is fast and easy to install.

In the nearly two months we have owned this it hasn't let us down yet. It has performed flawlessly. Reaches everywhere in our 1200 Sq. foot home.

Once the connection is established it is reliable. You do not have to worry about the connection being dropped. Great product for the money.

Replaced another net gear router. This was easy to set up. Just connect the cables and plug it in. Comes with a pre-designated password which user can change. One would have to contact netgear in case password is forgotten.. Given the recent relegation that routers can and are being hacked, wish I knew a way to disconnect the ability for someone to hack the router. Price was good.

Haven't had any issues, seem to work okay. When I bought it I only had 2 devices streaming off it but now I have 4 so time will tell if it holds up

It is easy to set up. It has worked without any interruption since installed several weeks ago. I was disappointed with the range. For something called range max and from the reviews I thought I would get a better signal in my small home. I tried moving it around but it did not help. It may be something in my home causing interference but I had to get a Netgear range extender. With that I have complete coverage. Again, very easy to install.

I bought this so I could use my roku 2 bedrooms away from where the router is setup and it works great!

Dual-band, easy setup right out of the box, decent but not great speeds. You get what you pay for. I would not recommend for use in larger homes.

I am a PC Gamer and have my computer hard wired and have outstanding Internet speed. We also have 2 iPhones, 2 Androids, and 2 tablets connected on Wifi and never see a problem . Very easy to hook up and the Netgear Genie allows you to control everything needed to run a network. Overall great product!

As above, so below. Not much to say beyond that. I've noticed a marked increase in my Internet speeds since replacing my ancient, dying router.

The salesman asked a few questions about our needs, advised us regarding what to buy! Product works great & was exactly what works for our needs!

This router was recommended by two very helpful young men at the Avon, Ohio Best Buy store after a brief summary to them about the size of my home and how I was going to use the router. It was EXTREMELY EASY to set up - two minutes! I've had other routers and have had to reset them. So far so good, had this one about a month, use it all the time, and have not had to reset it once yet.
