First let me say this is a great router. I had some problems with the setup but a call to support helped tremendously. Part of the problem was my computer. When I hooked up another, it went smootly. I really like the router, it has worked flawlessly for the last 2 months that I have had it.

The NETGEAR N600 Dual Band Wireless-N Router with USB is simple, easy to set-up and quick to install. Great unit for the novice or beginner. Has a lot of feature that are normally in more expensive routers. This unit comes with a great interface for setting up different control settings.

We went to Best Buy because they had a sale on another brand wireless router, but unfortunately their shelves were cleaned out and I didn't want to wait around or drive around for the deal. The Netgear N600 was also on sale, so we picked one up. It cost a little bit more, but its basically overqualified for the job at hand. It offers two different frequency bands of wifi. The setup took some time. The main issue is that you are not allowed to choose a name for your WIFI network, or password. The Netgear N600 comes out of the box with a preset WIFI name and WIFI password, and the password is something FREAKIN cryptic, like LADIESMAN127 (from Transformers). It's nice that it has it, but after you set up all of your devices, its kind of hard to remember ladiesman127 to tell your friends and relatives that come visit and want to surf your net. The WiFi network id has NETGEAR in it, which is just blatant advertising when searching for wifi channels. I wouldn't buy this again.

My old router seemed to dropout a lot and had dead zones. This works great for my iPad, my wife's laptop, and my laptop, which connects to a VPN. No longer do video chats freeze, and our Internet now works as it should. We're very pleased with this router and would highly recommend it!

It took minutes to install, and I am connected. So beyond easy. I had bought a cisco router and me not being to computer savy I had to take it back because it was so difficult. This product is great, and very easy to install. I would recommended this product to all my friends and family.

I needed a router that gave a little more range as it's on the first floor and the blu-ray player is in the basement on the other end of the house. I had some issues with the old router not handling streaming HD movies. This one works much better, not perfect but I'm happy.

I put off getting a router forever because I thought they were difficult to set up correctly. this was so easy to setup. I wish I had bought this years ago. so nice to have wireless and multiple devices hardwired all at the same time. so far it is working great!

This was a replacement for a belkin that I was told was gonna work. The Belkin gave out in about 5 months and it shorted out. After some research I decided on this unit and it has not disapointed. I live in a 2 story house and I get signal throught out the house and even outside.

I just recent switched over to Comcast and did not want to pay for the modem/router fees. Bought this router as this would be perfect for my house and just right for the internet package I have. Overall a good router

I paid someone to connect my last router and set me up on a network. When the router went out, I dreaded trying to set up a new one. The instructions on this Netgear router are so simple that you can't make a mistake. Wish everything came with instructions this clear. Works great.

This is the best wireless router I ever had! It was easy to install and setup. Works great! The syncing feature is awesome; just press the blue button and your devices find it and syncs right away. You don't need a passphase code or anything just press the blue button and its done!

I bought this after I purchased a laptop and my daughter got an I-Pad. I'm not a "tech person" by any sense of the term but this was relatively easy to set up and works great throughout our house. I highly recommend it!

I had issues with Ativa wireless router and had to continually connect with the public library across the street. The sales associate at Best Buy recommended the Netgear brand. It was easy to set up and immediately I was able to sync my Nook, my laptop, etc. Very happy now.

great for gamers, and netflix on several devices. lots of ppl bashed tech. support... i did use T.S. and the guy was great. 5min wait then 10min till we went through all the ez stuff and the i was up and running. was just a glitch i got from a power outage during an update

This was a Christmas gift for our son. As far as I know it works just fine.

Our last router just could not keep up with the demand and the updates from the internet. We had it in a huge home with a big family and now are in an apartment but we kept losing service and got to the point wireless wouldn't work at all. Being fed up with everyone having to plug in at this point I went to Best Buy and compared them. This gave the most without going overboard on price and NO DISK! It is nearly dummy proof unless the dummy cannot read. You unplug the router and everything connected to it. Then connect the new one and start connectng modem and and computer and BAM you are set. Yes guys, your wives can do this and say BOOYAH! It only takes a few minutes and no downloading disks and going through tireless mess. A+ NETGEAR

I first got a Motorola surfboard gateway and it was horrible. So it took it back and to get the regular motorola surfboard modem and this Netgear router and it is great. Speedtest.net put me at 18Mb/s download speed.

Initial plug and play set up instructions were very easy to follow. However, to make sure we did evertything correctly and set the specs to our needs, we consulted with a relative in the computer consulting business

We were replacing an old Netgear router that appeared to be causing our internet problems. We purchased this dual-band router for its versatility and range. This was a piece of cake to set up. Our internet problems appear to be gone, and the computer is working very well.
