Installation was a snap, signal reaches out very well to our yard

I had trouble installing from the CD (couldn't detect ethernet connection). Have 90 days free phone support. Netgear technician had very thick accent, but with some patience, I managed to understand his instructions. Up & running smoothly. One year warranty, & purchased extended 1 yr for $6. Pleased so far.

I switched to NetGear because my previous Wireless Lynksys was very spotty and kept having to unplug it to reset it. I had read some previous reviews and found I wasnt the only one with this issue. Also, when calling Lynksys support. They kept wanting to charge me for techsupport over the phone because my one year was up but they knew what the problem was and could fix it for me for a CHARGE. I didnt like that one bit.

this was very easy to install made connecting to the internet with all our wireless devices very easy no longer need all the cords

It extends the range of my router farther than i had hoped. The only downside is it does need to be reset often or you have no signal.

I tell you it did not take long to set up at all, I thought it was to easy and "that's it", wow. Anyways, followed the easy instructions and my itouch was connected to the net in shourt order via the wireless connection at 2.4 Mhz. I am using a DSL service and have no problems. Easy to put it in secure mode and you can tell it not to transmit during any time window you want. The blue LED light on the top is easy to disable. So far so good. I power mine off every day and when I power it back on, there is nothing I have to do.

This device is very easy to set up. It has a lifetime warranty. Would recommend to friends.

The installation disc crashed my computer because it failed to initialize. This is a problem that the manufacturer and Best Buy's geek squad informed me when I had my computer repaired by Best Buy. The disc contained with the product for installation is not fit for the purpose intended and is not merchantable. If someone buys such a product either have Best Buy install it or go on NetGear's website and follow their instructions without using the installation disc. It freezes prior to completion and could crash your computer.

This was put in by the Geek Squad for wireless internet for computers and TV. It came with the service and is working like a charm.....

We had a Lynksys before this one and this one is SO MUCH BETTER! It was almost TOO EASY to set up. We really like it. Thanks Netgear!

I had this router up and running in no time and had all my laptops, XBox and printer networked in within an hour. There was a little problem with the printer set up through the push and connect feature, but I just used the ethernet cable and it then set up right away. I have not noticed any dead spots and it is keeping up with my computer and printing needs. I did hook up the XBox with an ethernet cable so the gaming would not have the wireless delay, but that is why there are the ethernet ports in the rear of the router.

As a technologically challenged individual this has been so easy to install and use. We are very happy with the performance so far!

Would definitely recommend NetGear....previously bought Belkin and it went out within a year!

I upgraded to this router from the netgear n300 because my playstation was having difficulties connecting even without any other devices on the network. The playstation is on the other side of my house and up a floor, so I can see where the router might have difficulties. However, when I set up the n600, there was a clear difference. Even with four or five other devices connected, there is no "lag" when playing online games such as Modern Warfare 3. Great investment for anyone with a slow network or weak signal.

This replaced a reconditioned unit which went bad after a month. So far, so good on this unit. Easy to install and is working well.

Replaced a newer Linksys wireless modem with the Netgear. Setup was quick and painless. There is no appreciable difference in wired speeds, but the wireless signal is A LOT stronger. I was having to reset my network once a week to clear the cache on the previous modem. I never understood why, but that's what Linksys and Comcast recommended. I've had the Netgear connected for over a month and haven't had to reset anything. Modem interface is simple and intuitive. I wish I would have purchased this modem originally.

No issues with it at all. We've had it for a month or two now. Strong signal everywhere in the house. Easy to configure security.

Wonderful product, would recommend for large or small houses. I had one in my old house that was 2700 sqft and had no problems.
