Awesome product... I have only used Linksys/Cisco products before and have always had to rest the router about once a week to regain signal. With this Netgear Router, works awesome, strong signal in every room, and since purchased have never had to rest the router at all. Recommended to me from family and Fry's Electronics (price is pretty much the same anywhere you buy it from).

the system is nice and as a lot of decent features but the signal strength is not what the package makes it out to be. I live in a 2 story 2700 sq. ft. home, and I don't get the signal strength that I hoped I would. Maybe the only systems to really deliver are the $100+ systems. It is also hard to tell if the problem is the router or the wifi receiver in my other equipment.

I was able to connect both my lap tops to this with no problem. Works great!!!

Router is located in the basement. No problems with wireless connectivity in the basement or first floor. Seems as though the second floor has some challenges in terms of getting a solid, consistent signal. Overall, currently happy with performance.

I bought it for my dad for christmas. he loved it and it was easy to install.

More complicated than cheaper models due to all of the advanced features that most won't use anyway, especially if they are just looking for an easy wireless router. I've been through a few Linksys routers, so I wanted to try Netgear this time around. Currently using it's wireless routing capabilities on 1 pc, 2 laptops, 2 smartphones, and a PS3. Works great for what I need.

In upstairs office. Was at 6.36 Mbps, increased to 18.3 Mbps with extender. Note: my MacBook Air does NOT need the extender and actually works better without it (26.48 Mbps). The tech said this is typical - Apple's components are simply better. It only gets to 16.4 Mbps with the extender (actually got up to 19.04 on 2nd try).

From a previous experience with a wireless router, I was skeptical when sales person told me it would be an easy setup. He was right. Steps in the process went smoothly, including setting network name and password. It's also a breeze to connect guests to our network with the "guest" channel.

The router is easy to install and works great. Originally I had the router sitting horizontally and it seemed to get pretty hot, which I think impacted the performance. Once I placed the unit on the included "legs", it worked much better and dissipated the heat. I'm very pleased with the unit.
