Works fine, fair price
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I use mine for a wireless access point(WAP) only and don't use the router capabilities. It took several tries to get it configured for my use, but works just fine. The setup screens from the internal server have good information about filling in the configuration fields. The store didn't have much on the shelf for WAPs so I made do with the wireless router.

Had to call customer support

Had to replace a Linksys that went bad and was recommended to get a NetGear from several family members and friends. Also advised by the XBox 360 tech support to get a N Router.

Another Good Netgear Product

This model is no exception. Installation was a breeze, setup and configuring the router was just as simple. The USB storage works like it should, plugged in a portable hard drive and it showed up immediately on all the computers connected to the router. Would buy again.

Good connection all over the condo

However, I am completely satisfied with my Netgear router.

Download speed between 10-17Mbps

Set up was really easy but after that I was receiving download speed via wifi of 10Mbps. Even when I disable wmm the situation went little up (17Mbps) (my cable is providing between 75Mbps and 80Mbps download speed). I called netgear customer service (free 90 days support) and after 40 min over the phone reseting and changing settings the support guy told me "just return it in the store and get a new one" That exactly what i did. I got Linksys. It is working. 10x netgear you just lost me as a client
