easy to install, even for a person who is not tech savvy. Have not had any problems getting a signal at the opposite end of the house.

This is an acceptable wireless router. For the price, the value is good, however the older technology Netgear router that it replaced had a more powerful signal. This made us move the location of the router to a small closet in the middle of the house, out of our office at the corner of our home. This required buying a longer, extended cable and guiding it through the basement and up into a 'central' closet in our house. It is a bit baffling as to the reason for 'weak' signal, but at this price, the unit is acceptable.

I bought this router based on a recommendation for our internet carrier. It was reasonably priced and it was extremely simple to install. Its range is really solid. Only potential negative thus far is that I have had to do a reset twice in just under 60 days. I have never had to unplug and restart any other routers that often so I will be keeping an eye on that. Would recommend based on performance thus far.

Does exactly what it says. Worth the money. Every once in a while I have to reset but that's only due to the bad connection from the Ethernet cable that my landlord provides us with, but overall it works great.

This router is located the furthest corner in the back of my house. On the front porch of my house, I get 'excellent strength' reception (all 5 bars). The wireless reception is excellent all around my house.

this router is awesome, I'm actually glad our last router stopped working. This router has a great and far reach signal strength. I was walking around my neighborhood and when I was two houses down from mine, my phone notified me that I was under our network. I got curious so I got on my phone and sure enough I was able to surf the web via wifi (our network) very well. The signal strength is very good!

This router was a gift for somebody, It was easy to setup and has worked perfect for about a month with no issues.

Recommended by BestBuy rep after describing my setup and devices. Still having some problems with dropping off-line, but may be due to loose connections or old modem. Smaller and more stable than old router.

The NetGear dual band wireless router is a great product. I set up the NetGear 5.0GH network when I do streaming on Netflix. There's no disruption to a movie when the microwave is running (it uses the 2.4GH band).

I have recently been researching ways to cut household costs. I discontinued my home phone and cable service; saving me $85 a month.
