Product extended wifi tremendously for a great low price!!

I was very happy with the initial set-up, as it was very easy and quick. However it did not suit my needs, as the room that I needed it for was too far away from the internet source and when connected it would cut in and out. Otherwise a good product, wish it worked out for me

It's a great help in improving our wifi, our router is in our living room but it was not enough for us so we placed this wifi extender inside our room, it has been amazing since then. We never had any problems with our connection and we can now download faster! It's so great!

Bought this to extend the signal of a dying router, and it does what it's supposed to do. Nothing more, nothing less. Would've loved to replace the router, but went this route instead. Incredibly easy set up.

I'm not sure how easy this would be to set up if you didn't know what you're doing. Fortunately, I did so the installation went smoothly. Not sure if I've seen as much of an improvement as I was hoping for. The key is proper placement within your space to get the most out of it.

some difficulty with installation - had trouble with all my devices recognizing wifi (wireless laptop, wireless printer, 2 smart phones), but now seems to work fine, and gives us great coverage extending to outside deck

I thought this was a great product. Ease to use and install. The only thing I wish was better was if it had a larger range. This would make the product so much better. I can get wifi outside in the garden in that case.

Netgear is second to NONE ! This Range Extender did the trick to get internet to my mom's house from my sister's house with no problems. Easy to set up and works like a dream, as expected from Netgear products!

This was very simple to get up and going. It took me about 5 minutes to get it up and running with one look at the instructions. Connection issues are no longer a problem and we can now use it in the back yard and porch.

Purchased the NetGear internet extender to help with the sketchy connections on the upper level of our home. Since this has been installed we connect quickly and can watch Netflix without it dropping the connection.

I was looking for a Links plug and play internet extender for the home, but they didn't have it. So, I picked up the Netgear range extender. It was real easy to plug in and find the signal, but the boost in range was miserable only giving one extra bar level from the source with literally being half the distance. Then, I was unable to log into the extender do to a password protection that I couldn't encrypt. I followed the directions, tried to find solutions on the internet, and am still unable to log into the extender. I would take it back but it's past the due date on the return policy.

Needed a router that could pick up a wireless signal and provide me with an ethernet port for my vonage phone which was in another room far from my router. Has been working great ever since I installed it.

The set up was easy, but the web address the manufacturer provided to regain settings access after installation was not valid. In general, the device initially worked, but after a 2-3 weeks a couple things began to happen. It periodically started dropping from my network. And then, after re-establishing a connection some of my devices were unable to connect to the extender. I did not have this problem after the initial set up. I eventually had to return the product.

For those of us who have Verizon FIOS know how ok the Actiontec router is when it comes to wireless performance. Because of my current setup, it is impossible to have the router on the main floor of my home so it resides in the basement. I was hoping the $40 on this wifi extender would fix the issues but more problems were created than solved. Here were some major issues I would like to get across in a brief manor: 1. There is no "ease of setup". The extender performs properly if your FIOS router is set to either WPA or WPA2. By default it is set to WEP and occasionally the extender will not be able to connect to the router due to the encryption. 2. Extender cripples whole network. After sorting out the issues with the encryption on my FIOS router, the extender did its job; not perfectly, but good enough. However, a major fault started developing and that was the extender would suddenly shutdown my network. At 10PM every night, my FIOS router would stop transmitting and the only fix would be to manually restart the router and extender. After the restart, the router would be fine until the next night. The list goes on and I would I could report any pros on this device but I cannot. Also, because of that experience, NETGEAR has had a bad taste in my mouth which was evident when a Best Buy employee recommended me a router to use as an access point to bridge with my FIOS router. $100 and 2-3 weeks later after returning the extender and buying the router, I have no issues what so ever. I can use 4 devices at the same time (2 being Google Chromecasts which output full HD movies via Netflix.) So if your situation sounds just like mine, I definitely recommend bridging your FIOS router with a proper router and leave this device on the shelf.

Once I got connected to the WiFi extender I found my computer and WiFi television worked faster and with no problems. I never knew I needed until someone told me to try it. It really helps my computer speed.

Great quality, great performance. We have found an excellent and reliable product that maximizes the performance of the computer, the network and flow of data. Very nice design and impressive compact size.

I bought it two months ago and is the perfect solution if you have alot walls at your home and a weak signal or not signal at all this does the job now I get 100 percent signal..excelent product. FELIPE.
