A: Once you set up the Netgear extender, you will set up a name and password, just like your original router. Then when you set up your tv you choose the Netgear's name and enter your password and you are connected to it. I am not good with technology and I could set this up with no problems. Good luck!
A: NO way. I couldn't get my signal to extend from one end of my house to the other <100ft.
