Once you set up the Netgear extender, you will set up a name and password, just like your original router. Then when you set up your tv you choose the Netgear's name and enter your password and you are connected to it. I am not good with technology and I could set this up with no problems. Good luck!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If your extender is paired with your modem already, and your TV has WIFI, you need to enter your network name, and .EXT to connect wirelessly (on the TV) , if the tv does not have Wi-Fi, you need an Ethernet cable (CAT5) between the tv and the extender. Keep in mind all of this is contingent on the extender being paired with your modem, as per the included instructions.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Had no problem connecting. Went to TV internet settings and connected. Was surprisingly pretty easy to do.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You can use the ethernet cable and plug it in one of the back ports of your extender and the tv if available. If you have a smart tv use the wireless setting on you tv to setup the connection and log into the extender internet conection.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If your TV has a ethernet port (wired), you can plug a ethernet (category 5) cable which looks similar to a phone cord but thicker from your TV to the back of your extender which should have at least 4 ports to connect. If you prefer wireless, your TV should have a setting for connecting to your home wireless network, have your TV search for your SSID of your extender which usually adds a suffix "_EXT" or something similar to your existing wifi name. Hope this helps.
