I extended my network to another level and this product did the job. One items worked better with a wired connection so I was able to connect the item to the extended router using one of the ports.

Rather than buy a whole new router, we opted for this booster. There's a website you visit to set it up and that's it. Took about 5 minutes. Once it's set up, you don't have to think about it any more.

Best Buy program informs me that I must use 50 characters to describe the product, which I purchased. Therefore, it was very easy to install. Performs as per my need for extending the wi-fi range.

I love this thing it was cheaper than others but still a great product. Netgear has great products for there cost.

The extender works well while the connection isn't losts. I had a little trouble the first time trying to get the connection back. So far it has only happen once hoping I don't have to go through loosing connection and setting back up frequently

This wifi extender is very easy to set up. It started working on my first try to set it up. The ability to allow all my wifi devices to have a strong signal throughout the house is wonderful.

I needed an extender for my existing router and this one was the answer. Easy to set up and covers a huge area, even to the outside of the house as well as through multiple floors.

This product does not work well. It keeps loosing a signal and the instructions are not clear. I had a hard time setting it up and when I did, it would loose a signal.

Setup seemed to work ok. Not sure how we'll it operates because I only tried it when I installed it and have not tried lately.

Great product and I will purchase another one if I need to. I set up at in laws house and a small rental unit I was using for a while. Great price as well compared to the rest.

Bought this to extend the range throughout t he house. Works well enough, but needs to be reset a lot. Rather frustrating, but does extend the range like it says it does.

Had a problem picking up my wireless signal from one floor to another and this solved my issue beautifully!! Easy to follow directions made set up a breeze and it works perfectly.

Instructions and setup were simple and direct. Able to set up and operate within minutes. Excellent signal extension of primary wireless modem and gateway. Does drop signal once in a while. Not often enough to warrant complaints.

This netgear extender was easy to install and it works just fine. I have not had to touch it since I set it up. I even get a single a block down the street on my phone.

Honestly, I still don't have the thing completely set up to work with our devices. The instructions are not very clear.

I needed something to extend the range of my wireless router around the corner to avoid interference from kitchen appliances. This was the perfect solution. It works greats and very cost effective. I was looking at a much more expensive unit, thinking that you get what you pay for. I talked to the Best Buy rep and explained what I had. He pointed out that the more expensive unit would actually not work any better because it would be mixing technologies. Plus, as he pointed out, if this did not work. I could return it and purchase something else. Bottom line, he probably saved my $100 and this works great.

I bought this network extender to enable wireless access to my home network from the upstairs bedrooms in my house. 99% of the time, the extender works perfectly as advertised - it's very fast, super stable and even looks cool to boot. Setup is quite simple and the device even performs admirably under heavy load (streaming Netflix while copying large files across the network). Actual range is dependent upon both your receiving devices (other computers connected to the extender) and the construction of the building the extender is in; I usually get 3 out of 5 bars (sometimes 4) despite the extender being no more than 25 feet from the computers upstairs. However, I can detect the extender's signal all the way down the block from my house, likely because the device is situated near a window. In other words, even if your house is built out of lead-infused bricks, this extender should work for you just fine. However, if you're doing anything that requires extremely high bandwidth (piping blu-ray from a media server upstairs to a TV downstairs, or something) then you're much better off just buying a 100' ethernet cable - the fastest wireless network in the world can't hold a candle to wired speeds. The only issue I've found, and the reason for deducting one star from an otherwise excellent product, is that occasionally the connection will drop to local-only (no internet connection). I actually exchanged my first unit, which was dropping its internet connection every 15 minutes or so (wildly frustrating). My replacement unit however will sometimes go weeks without dropping the connection. I am unsure exactly why this happens, but given the huge difference between my initial and replacement units, it seems to be hardware-dependent (which, from a technical point of view, is somewhat baffling but implies a hardware manufacturing defect). A simple reboot fixes the problem, and the extender even has an on/off button on the back - a nice touch compared other networking hardware I've owned. If your extender is dropping its internet connection, return it! My local Best Buy has excellent customer service and I had a replacement unit within minutes with zero complications.

very easy to set up....took maybe 10-15 minutes from the time I plugged it in until I had several devices connected to it.

This product was easy to hook up. The Best Buy employee made sure I understood what I was buying. Of the other products I tried this one did everything I needed it to.

I use this in a detached garage. The lights indicate there is no signal, but there is enough signal to extend the range from my main router (about 150' away).
