Needed a range extender...this worked perfect!!!!!

The unit itself works great once you get it connected. It took more than just the instructions to get it connected due to the router we already have and its configuration. We had to call netgear but they where very helpful and worked with us until we got it connected. I would recommond this product but just have patience.

Don't make the same mistake i made. Just because its an extender doesn't mean you can use the same network name. Your SSID is different than the extender SSID_EXT name. If you make the extender the same name then you run into problems. The extender is basically another router connect wirelessly to your existing network.

This was exactly what I was looking for and would by a second for the church.

I have had the extender for over a month and I have not had any issues.

was told it would come with an installation CD - did not. After 4 frustrating hours, I learned you have to install it with an Ipad or smart phone. Have neither. Worked an hour with Netgear support, could not install it. Finally returned it. Will never buy another Netgear product.

Do not buy. WPS doesn't work with my ATT uverse hardware. Even though I turned it on the modem. Only one of my laptop computers works through it. I bought it for my Cisco VOIP phone. It keeps rebooting on me for NO reason. The interface is garbage. It is a complete waste of money.

IT WORKS GREAT. MY SIGNAL STRENGTH WENT FROM LOW AND VERY LOW TO GOOD AND EXCELLENT. IT IS WIRELESS AND NO CONNECTIONS EXCEPT TO ELECTRIC PLUG IS NEEDED. TECH SUPPORT IS FREE AND THEY HELPED WITH INSTALLATION. UNFORTUNATELY IT IS OUTSOURCED.

Took me one system reset to get it programmed but it works great

My son moved downstairs and our router was upstairs. He was having troubles downloading and had issues logging in quickly with his Xbox. I read about this device on Geek Squads troubleshooter site and thought I'd give it a try. I can know enjoy sitting outside and surf the web quicker.

Unlike some reviewers I found this product extremely easy to set up. Read the instructions and do what they say. It extends rangs just like it's supposed to. Our home wifi life has been dramatically improved by adding this device.
