I needed to extend my wireless to the front part of the house. I couldn't use my iPhone unless I was on 3G and it was using all of my data plan. Now, I can use wireless in the front of the house and not have to increase my data plan.

I couldn't get a reliable WiFi signal in the garage but after installing this range extender I now have a strong signal throughout the house and into the garage. Took about 5-10 minutes to setup and configure.

I am not technically adept at much, but this was really easy to set up. It effectively extends our networks reach, to allow access in every part of our house, which was not at all the case before we got this unti. Highly recommended.

Did not successfully connect to ATT UVerse WIreless Router. Returned product. Assume likely an ATT problem but was not inclined to explore further at this time.

Use it hook my VoIP phone in my home office that needed a LAN cord. This wireless extender provides wireless and wired option to connect your device in a remote location. Been using it for a month and no issue with the calls.

I purchased this to extend our internet to further parts of the house. I have had to move it multiple times to get better reception on the other end of the house. Seems to be working better at the moment.

I live in an ARK of a house and need an extender for the second floor. This router tries but does not get the job done. There must be something that can help me to have wireless in my house which uses Verizon.

I bought this item to extend our Internet into our basement. This thing has worked just as the manufacturer said it would. I would definitely recommend this to someone who is looking to extend their wireless range.

The product is ok, does what it's expected to do. The setup was terrible-- the website you are supposed to use did not function properly. I had to create a work around to get this product to function.

The product is awesome. I was having trouble getting my wifi to reach my entire house. With this the problem is totally solved! Every room in ny house and even outside my house now has a signal. Its awesome!

I didn't do a scientific test but the signal strength indicator on a laptop I use in the area doesn't show range improvement, I and a Netgear 800 line helper had a hard time getting it to work at all.

I connected it with Xfinity modem and later changed service to Uverse. It has not been working well since then. It keeps losing connectivity.

We had huge issues with our wireless internet connection. this item was suggested and we went and purchased it from BB. Now we have wireless internet throughout or very large home. WORKS GREAT!

I bought this to connect my marantz sr7007 for the apple airplay. It's fantastic, now I can wirelessly play music from my ipad, MacBook and iPhone with great quality without any interruptions.

Others have already posted an identical review to what I have to say about this device. I bought it as I needed to set up an office in my garage and needed to extend the network to reach. PROS 1. The Price was right. 2. Set up was super Easy. 3. It works as advertised. Extends Network Range as promised. 4. I like the 4 wired ports Can attach nearby wired devices (DVR, Game Console, Blue Ray, Sling Box), But more on that in a second. 5. Enables Our IPADS to be used anywhere in the house. (Including upstairs) HOWEVER As others have mentioned it can be a little quirky. The extender keeps losing connection with the base router. The indicator goes red, everything grinds to a halt and then it reconnects and comes back up. In my case this behavior is completely random. Sometimes it will go days with no issue, and then other times it happens every 15 minutes. I have a theory as to why this is.....Keep reading. Cons 1. Keeps dropping connection with Router 2. Only works in 2.4 ghz. I have a dual band router and would love to extend the 5 ghz network as well. SPECIAL NOTE One thing I discovered that I have not seen posted anywhere else. You cannot use two of these on the same network! I liked the wired ports so much that I bought a second on thinking I could use it as an Ethernet bridge for my AV devices as well as extend the network even farther by chaining the devices (I live on a couple acres and thought I could create network access anywhere on the property by chaining a second extender to the first). Maybe just me, so would love to hear if anyone has made this work. BUT IN MY CASE (And this is soley based on my observations)...As soon as I brought the second online the network came to a crawl and the devices kept knocking each other off the air. One would turn green and the other would go red. MY THEORY on why the Extender keeps losing connectivity.... The extender works on the 2.4 ghz band which is busy and susceptible to interference. I am suspicious that the two extenders were interfering with each other and the interference is causing the extender to lose connectivity. That would also explain the random connection loss being reported. If you are experiencing this issue, try relocating the extender away from sources of possible interference. I found that the further I am from the microwave the less frequently the drops seem to occur.

Tried to return it but Best Buy would not take it- it was past the 15 days. We tried our due diligence to get it to work right but it still did not reach the back half of our house.

Excellent for the money. Great product would definitely recommend to a friend if having problems with dropped internet connection..

It created an echo signal and labeled it with the name.ext. That signal didn't exist. After it created, it wouldn't open the original signal, just the echo, which didn't work.

I went I to best buy to find a solution for port expansion because I added some wifi phones and additional computers. The sales person recommended this and its worked well ever since.
