This unit worked exactly as advertised. I had no problem setting it up with my Netgear wireless N router. Really did the trick for me and saved a lot of work rearranging my cable modem and router. Best of all, now the wife's happy.

For some reason the router in my apartment cannot broadcast a wireless signal strong enough to be picked up by my xbox and google tv. After getting this extender I have no more problems.

I had a problem getting access to my wireless network throughout my large ranch-style home. I set this product up near the middle of the house (my router is on one end of a long house) and all of a sudden, there's no problem.

This product definitely hit the spot. This morning I'd set up a new Internet-enabled TV in a part of our tri-level condo that I feared might have trouble. Our WiFi router is on the top floor and the TV was on the bottom floor. We have WiFi signal down there, but sure enough, I guess the signal wasn't quite good enough for Netflix, since it would only stream for a minute or two before it would pause for several seconds to catch up. My local Best Buy had this Netgear repeater product in stock so I bought and had it set up within 20 minutes. Now the streaming works great and we've already watched it for hours without a single pause.

NOT TO EASY TO INSTALL, BUT WORKS VERY GOOD, THE SIGNAL ITS GOOD.

I bought this to allow my Dad to use is iPad at the far end of his home. The setup instructions assume that it would be used to connect a PC to the router and another PC to the extender. It took a great deal of experimentation but once I was able to connect it worked great.

Very easy to setup and utilize. A little expensive but a great product very easy to setup and configure. The range is actually quite good because the properties were solid cinder blocks and a decent distance apart.

This device took care of a weak signal problem I was having in the back part of our home. It consistently relays the signal from the hub in the basement through the floor and walls. It took a while to find the best placement spot, but I am definitely pleased with the result.

We have an older PS3 that is not wireless, and we are able to connect the PS3 directly to this and pick up my wireless connection. Very fast connection, no lag in the gaming according to my kids. It does drop the connection about once a week, but reconnecting is just pushing a button on the range extender and a button on my router.

Good Network Extender for price, easy to setup. Get one

Due to some oddities in my house, our wireless signal pretty much ended halfway through the building. When I added this range extender, that problem ended entirely. I no longer have trouble holding a connection to the router anywhere in my home.

Got $10 more, a small unit is available in white with no wires, but I was not aware of that when I bought this extender. The WBS did not start the machine so it had to be installed manually. The reception is excellent, even thru closed doors

My router is upstairs and the signal to my player downstairs was very unreliable. Now with the range extender, the signal is very strong and reliable. I did have a problem setting it up, but with one phone call to Netgear that took care of that. There was no instructions with unit that tells you how to install

Easy setup...easy connections and good range extentio. I would've given it a 5 except for some reason it wont allow my PS3 to connect. :( My Wireless router is in the basement of a 2 family and it was able to see and extend the range to 100%.

I use this to connect to a apt. complex Wi-Fi hotspot So far in the two weeks I've owned this I've had to turn power off and back on (reboot) twice because my wifes Laptop can't get Internet through it.. It just all of a sudden looses the connection , It is still linked to the extender but doesn't get Internet.. rebooting fixes the problem My desktop doesn't do this, I connect to the extender thought a D-Link Range booster "N" adapter(I highly recommend this) But saving $45 per month Internet charges I can deal with a weekly reboot

I have used several WiFi extenders and I must say this was one of the easiest to set up. Netgear is one of the best brands I can think of and when you also have a Netgear WPS where you just press the button to set it up, what more can you ask?

This item works pretty well, when it works. On multiple occasions I have gone to login to the thing and have found that it was no longer there. Then on further inspection I have found that all of my information has vanished??? What you do is you take your signal and you hook it in to the extender, then it takes the signal and you hook to that. So, on multiple occasions I have come and found that it is not hooked to my wireless. Unfortunately the only solution to the problem is to start over which is not as simple as you might think it would be. It's not difficult, but it takes time. So, every time the stupid thing looses my info, its 20 minutes getting it reattached to it. So, it works but if there is an extender out there that is more reliable, I might recommend that.

After trying several different products, including the ones where you plug it into an outlet and use the home wiring (didn't work), I found this product. Although the instructions are not perfectly clear, I was able to connect the extender to my wireless network and then to my laptop in our bonus room on the other side of our house. And it works. Excellent signal in the bonus room now! I highly recommend this Netgear Extender.
