I have had this now for 3 months and it provides wired and wireless service to the other side of the house. today my brother complained of intermittent Internet connectivity to him wired Xbox 360. Sure enough the range expander shows no signs of life othe than light on front. It had stopped broadcasting the SSID_EXT network and the wired Ethernet ports on the back would not hand out an IP to my laptop when connected. I rebooted the device and envy thing has been going good for now...

Awesome way to increase the range of a Wireless network, and it provides an addition access point for devices that require a wired connection. For example I use it to extend my wifi network range and i connect both my mac pro and xbox 360 to it via ethernet cables.

I was quite happy to get this extender in my house. My main router is in the back room, and I tried several other products with no success. I finally tried this and my front room now screams with high speed wifi!!

This router extender was purchased because I use a Netgear office router and I assumed that the Netgear extender would be the easiest to setup and work well with the Netgear router. It is easy to setup and it does work well. I found that it needed to be rebooted on a regular bases as it would lose the connection at times and just seem to get bogged down at other times. The one year guarantee just ended about two weeks ago and wouldn't you know it, the router just went out yesterday. I expect routers to last a few years at minimum and to function continually without constant rebooting. I would not buy this extender again, nor would I recommend it.

It took me 4 extenders to finally find this one that would extend the signal through the metal building where my art studio is. Also supplies a protected signal if you set it up correctly.

Purchased this to extend and strengthen the wireless signal from my basement to the upstairs. It was very easy to setup and works great. Now when upstairs, I get a much stronger signal.

It"s a great product and does the job. I'm not real computer smart but the customer service line did their part. They were very helpful and were able to talk me through setting it up.

You will need to go online to find the full install options and even those are not fully clear. You will need to connect device to a laptop or PC prior to using it. Works as listed, but setup is not easy for a novice installer.

Use it in my man cave and I must say it works great...we were only getting a medium strength connection but after installing this (took about 10 mins to figure out) we had very good wifi connection and very good speed...highly recommended

I set it up in my home office, with my wireless router in the basement. I can access my network anywhere, from any computer. It works on a hybrid Mac-PC system, you can use it to introduce older computers to your home network.

I used this when I lived in apartment and it was fine...but when I moved to bigger house...it was not able to cover all areas. For few extra bucks I got the extender from Costco and it works amazing.

When I purchased it, the reviews and documentation said could be used as a wireless bridge. No matter what I tried it would not work as a bridge. Went and purchased a Wireless Switch that was easier to configure.

Works great.Paired with the Netgear Dual Band Wireless-N Gigabit Router,installation couldn't be easier.It extends my wireless range to easily cover all the areas I needed.

I actually found this fairly easy to set up and I'm slightly computer-challlenged. Works great when it picks up the signal, but tends to lose the signal occasionally.

I bought this to extend wifi coverage at my Mother's house. I was able to extend the wifi coverage from her neighbors into her house so now she can use her new Netbook.

Installation is not that easy, you have to figure out where to type the fields, the manual NEVER tells you that you have to type it on a specific field, it gives you about 6 spaces, you will have to guess where it works...if you miss it, sorry start again... Their 1 sheet poorly printed copy manual, NEVER specifies where to put the code, its a generic manual. BEWARE YOU WILL HAVE TO BROWSE ON THE NET, AND FIGURE THAT MANY COSTUMERS COMPLAIN ABOUT THE SAME THING.....AFTER THAT you will have to call support. After the installation, 2 weeks later the extender broke down, but yes, Support offers only limited time for the warranty, unless "you pay for their support:...amazing isn;t it? after you buy a $70+ usd you have to pay for extra support??? Now it stopped working, they told me, YES I still have guarantee (but I have to pay fedex or dhl, and they will return a new one free of charge..... What can I wait for after the second one arrives???? pay for extra support? or buy a new one when it breaks down? gimme a break!!!!. TRY OTHER BRANDS, (that's my advice)

I had some issues installing this product, but after the initial storm it was over (instalation). I am very happy with the perfomance of this product.

I live in a medium-sized house, but was still getting low wi-fi reception at one outer edge. Plugged this extender in, within minutes had boosted the signal to five bars. The outer edge is happy now!
