FAIRLY EXPENSIVE UNIT THAT DIDN'T WORK. MY NEIGHBOR ( A PROGRAMMER W/ A CAT-5 HARD WIRED ROUTERED 100 COMPUTERCAPABLE SYSTEM IN HIS LARGE HOME) FAILED ALSO. WE ENDED UP HARD WIRING (100 FT) THE TV TO MY SYSTEM...WORKS GREAT...I'LL BE RETURNINGTHE NETGEAR WHEN I GET DOWN YOUR WAY.

It only works half the time. I wouldn't recommend it.

Tried to get this device to work with three different brands of access points and it would not work. Spent over two hours trying different WPA, WEP and no security options and it would never connect. I suspect it will only work with other Netgear devices.

Quick set up, up and running in a matter of minutes, but it was under powered, and could not "see" networks reliably. Replaced with anoteher brand with 5 dB antennas that works much better.

This thing is a horrible product. Drops connections all the time. Forces me to reset my entitle system at least once a week. I just unplugged it and smashed it to pieces.

The software was cludgy and I could not tell if the expander was working or not. When, after numerous attempts, the indicator lights showed everything was connected, there was no appreciable difference in network strength.

This is no good and the customer service is non existent. We called many time to the mid-east and never got an answer. The on-line links did not work, got some strange site with no help! Returned as a piece of junk.

After spending half my day trying to get it to connect, I returned it to Best Buy. I know what I'm doing, so thought setup would be a snap. Not! Not interested in wasting my time.

I pulled it out of the box and followed the setup instructions. The unit wouldn't even power-up so I returned it for a refund. A real piece of junk. Don't bother.

There is no way to make it work. If you get it connected you do not get Internet access. More frustrating: there is no solution available at Internet forums

easy to connect but kept dropping signal when my laptop and my phone right next to it had fine signals. also too slow to stream netflix. Took back.

Power cycle it and it works for 15 minutes then out of contact with base. Inferior product. Support helpful but can't make up for weak product.

Did not work in my 1500 sq ft home. Too much interference perhaps....had to switch to the more expensive Powerline wireless extender kit.

Device setup instructions were confusing. Once set up, device worked great. Intermittently drops signal and constantly requires rebooting.

call support no help. talk for hours no help. no choice but to return product. Don't get it waste of money and time to return it.

I have worse reception connecting to ths extender than directly to my wireless router. Don't waste your time or money on this.

i couldn't get this to work for 3 solid weeks. I tried everything searched online and nothing worked.

When I bought this, I was told it would install in minutes. Weeks later and it still won't install.

Spent hours trying to get the unit to work. Never did. Finally took it back for a refund.
