Much faster than the original 3DS XL, the 3D works much better, overall great upgrade.

I wanted a new 3DS for three reasons: 1. Better Battery 2. Faster Processor 3. Better ergonomics (3DSXL sometimes hurt my hands) The new 3DS hits on all three categories. I find it more comfortable to hold and use and get noticeably longer battery life. Surprisingly the faster processing is the best feature. It makes a huge difference in terms of ease-of-use, and the web browser is as good as my phone.

I have had a 3ds since it's launch in 2011. The 3ds has a ton of an amazing games but the system itself isn't so hot. This device, the new 3ds solves so many problems I had. It's more comfortable to hold, the 3d is very much improved, the battery life is better (not great but better than the launch 3ds) and the screens are brighter. Love this handheld; prefect for smash brothers, puzzles and dragons,vetc

I bought this with the plan of beating Majora's Mask and selling it. The 3D blew me away. I may keep it around a bit longer. Comes with 4GB micro SD card. Does not come with a charger. Battery life is moderate; do not expect to play this all day in one sitting. If you close it without shutting it off, there are three LEDs that light up to tell you about messages and updates. This feature is worthless to me.

Nice and larger screen, better use of the 3D feature when tracking where I'm looking.

In my life, I have owned 5 total ds systems. The first two were gifts, and the third I bought for myself. The third was the original 3ds system, and the fourth was a gift for my sister. I'm saying this to show that I have some experience with Nintendo ds. After my original 3ds broke, I was back in the market for a 3ds myself. I had never owned an xl model of a ds, and this was my first. Whenever I tried out the previous models xl systems I always felt that they were too big and heavy. I didn't have that problem with this system. Another problem I had with the older xl systems was that I didn't think they were the prettiest. But this system is beautiful with a shimmery galaxy design on the outside and a nice dark blue interior. I am completely happy with this ds, and I would recommend it to anyone in the market for a ds.

Much faster processor combined with eye tracking 3d gaming makes for a great machine

If you like all of the game titles that are on this device you will love this handheld! The 3D on this new 3DS is amazing and really is a step up from previous models!! i would highly recommend getting this new 3DS if you are on the fence of getting a previous model! this adds great features that the older one simply doesnt have! I have no regrets purchasing it and have a blast playing on it!!

The 3D works great and the c-stick, while awkward at first, turned out to be great.

I have a game boy advance, and went to the Sony PSP and Vita after that when I got new systems. While I enjoy those systems, I've ended up using them more for video watching or to listen to music instead of playing games. Alot of the games I enjoy on those systems came from Nintendo first. I got the 3DS XL and have been enjoying playing some of the other series I always loved, like Zelda and Mario. My only complaint so far is that I wish there were more NES, SNES, and Game Boy games available through the store. I wish they were all available, although I have already spent plenty. I would also like to watch movies sometimes, and am not certain if I can put them on the device. One thing I really liked right away is that you can get cheap memory cards for the system. Sounds like the 32 GB one is the largest that is guaranteed to work. Supposedly, you can get bigger ones, but I didn't want to take time with that. The Vita cards are ridiculous since Sony forces you to use only their cards. Costs $108 for a 64 GB card for the Vita. The 32 GB for the 3DS cost $20.

Graphics, ease of use, and variety of games to choose from...all worth the price!

I bought this as a present for by fiance, and she absolutely loved it. First of all, this thing looks so good! The galaxy design is so vibrant and sharp. Secondly, the library of games for the 3DS is fantastic. I would recommend buying some type of controller handle adapter, as it can be a little uncomfortable after extended play, but still...5 out of 5.

I have owned a Nintendo DS Lite for a few years and I really loved it. The functionality and portability of the DS Lite was excellent. With the New 3DS, I think they are very up to date with processing and graphics that are available to the DS lineup. The games look great in 3D and the motion tracking is really good. I played the new Pokemon games and the Super Smash Bros. games and they both look and feel great. The size isn't too big if you are looking into upgrading. Coming from the DS Lite, it is pretty huge, but the extra screen space is a great. The battery life is good and the overall quality and finish is excellent.

This game is so much fun even for older guys. I'm currently 21 and play most games that I used to play when I was younger. The 3D is so amazing for such a small device. I have always been a Nintendo fan since I was 4 and to this day I decided to repurchase the new Nintendo 3Ds and couldn't be any happier sadly this system does not come with a charger, You must purchase that separately

I love the size. The 3d is much better on the new 3ds. I would buy it again!

Plays a great variety off games. Screen is much larger and easier for game play.

So far I've had an excellent experience with the New Nintendo 3DS XL. The C-Nub adds a great dimension to Majora's Mask and Monster Hunter 4U. Also, the faster processor means quicker load times and an upcoming port of Xenoblade Chronicles. I upgraded from a 3DS from launch in 2011, but if you've recently purchased a 3DS XL you might be wary of upgrading at this point. Overall I am happy.

Stable 3D, bigger screens, faster processing make for the best handheld to date

This product is so much fun. The size of it is absolutely perfect. I like the fact that there is a regular screen and in addition there is a touch screen. Also the variety of games that are available for this system is great. The fact that there are games from many years ago such as Mario and Donkey Kong makes it all the more fun. The control bottoms are just the right size.

This is great it's small and compact! Fits in my purse and so easy to use!
