I bought this special design galaxy 3ds xl..its amazing..the detail of how it is design..will blow you away..has a cool glossy look..the detail is amazingly done..the inside. Color matches perfectly..the cover art .very well done..and the console itself..us amazing looking in xl..game play is so much enjoyable than the smaller 3ds version.. It outbeats it hands down..Go grab one of these.. They won't last toi long.. I recommend it

Even though stock isn't the best right now, the console is still fantastic! And the design is spectacular! Compared to the smaller one with the face plates, I prefer the XL model for the bigger screens and the better chance for an IPS (quality) screen(s). I know this following trait but I feel it's necessary to include: there is no charger, they are cheap anyways and all chargers since the DSi still work! Great buy!

Got this for my 8 year grandson for Christmas. He loves the color (reminds him of IronMan) fits great in his 8 year old hands, variety of games for this DS and overall very satisfied.

This is a great game system for a child. There is a wide variety of games that can be played on it which makes it nice for the mom to play also. My child loves the bigger screen on her new one. She is able to use her games from her old model which saved me money. I didn't like that I had to buy the charger separate.

The graphics are great & the screen size is much better than the older handheld consoles. The only issue I have it that the sales associate, and front of the box, didn't make it known that they come with no charger. Luckily they are compatible with all of the old charging cords for DS and we had one. Unless someone tells you ahead of time you don't know until you get home and read the fine print on the back of the package.

The 3DS is great for playing shorter gaming session or if you want to watch TV and play a game. I mainly play classic games I owned on the NES and Super NES. I upgraded my older 3DS to the New XL 3DS. It's basically the same, but the New 3DS is faster to load everything, which I noticed my original 3DS took a while to load the main hub. Another improvement over my old 3DS is the 3D is more stable when moving around. On my old one when I moved to much I would lose the 3D effect and it would look blurry, I think the bigger size also helps with this. It's worth upgrading for the old 3DS to the new one if you play the 3DS a lot, want a bigger screen, and/or want things to not load so slowly

This is one of the best handhelds out there. the 3d is GREAT and the whole device this is better than the previous models. This is the best 3ds to date and I highly recommend it to anyone

3D works better than earlier versions. This is large and can heavy to hold, but the image looks great. Be aware that a power cord is not included! However, you can use the cords from older 3DS's.

Not exactly required by previous version owners (except for exclusive games), for both them and new owners it is a great QoL improvement.

Purchased this system for our son and he loves it! Good graphics for such a small screen. Lots of great games available for all age ranges. Overall very satisfied with this product!

This was totally worth it. I even upgraded from a full 3DS XL and just the eye tracking 3D upgrade and it was worth it. It actually works as well as all the reviews say. Pretty awesome

I purchased it for my 8 yr old and she loved it. It's battery life is good and loved the 3D mode best. Highly recommend this item.

Great portable game console. Does what it advertises and well. If you have the original 3DS this upgrade is a no brainer. Faster all around, better 3D and soon to come exclusive games.

I had the old 3ds and this new 3ds is a huge improvement over the old 3ds. The 3d effect is the biggest improvement. The added analog stick is great for games like Zelda majora's mask.

I was on the edge of buying this product or buying the older version of the 3DS, thinking the extra features really wouldnt be to my liking. Boy was I wrong! I'm so glad I made this purchase! The New 3DS XL is by far the best portable platform I've ever played. As an owner of the original 3DS, the face tracking for 3D play was something I had never knew I needed until I had it. The system literally tracks your face and adjusts it's polarization angle at an almost unnoticeable rate! It makes the 3D games feel more immersive and let's you relax those muscles and move around a bit while still enjoying 3D gaming. The system is far faster at loading than the older model, which is more of a nice to have than anything else. Amiibo support is built right into the design, and a C stick is also added to the controls! The battery is also removable (applause) which means you can finally replace the battery once it's worn out! The drawbacks, we'll I have 2. 1, it takes micro SD cards, so you can't just use your old card (for those that had a 2DS, 3DS, or past 3DS XL), and the location for the card is not easily accessed and requires removing the back casing of the device. My second biggest gripe is that the system DOES NOT COME WITH A CHARGER. I know this is something Nintendo said upon release, and the store told me about it, but it just seems so trivial that they cannot bump the price up $10 to include a device to charge the darn thing. Those 2 things aside, an amazing platform that I'd definitely recommend!

Love the new 3ds xl. And the Galaxy design is great too. I bought this for myself. My son had a previous 3ds model, which I enjoyed playing to decompress from a busy life of being mom and working a fast paced job. I keep the 3d turned on at a very low setting, love that I can turn it on and off if need be. But at a low setting the graphics are super, and it doesn't make me feel woozy as some 3d electronics can.

I got exactly what I was expecting. It looks slick. The faster processor is quite noticeable especially when loading up smash bros. My only real complaint is the method they chose for swapping the micro sd card. It's not the worst thing ever, but I felt that if I applied too much force I might break the back panel.
