The New 3DS XL is definitely an upgrade from the previous model. The front camera almost always adjusts the 3D effect to match your viewpoint. Plus upgraded hardware and design.

The New Nintendo 3DS is really fun to play. It has a fast processor and the console is nicely built with awesome 3D effects. My only complaint is that fingerprints are prone on the outside of the case.

My daughter wanted this game console for game play and online access. She plays with her friends and enjoys it. Graphics are cool and the switch between 2D and 3D is really nice.

The 3ds xl is a really good gaming system. I enjoy the colorful design and the games on the 3ds are very good. This is a excellent gaming system for all ages.

3ds was already an amazing but add in better 3d, the extra analog nub and a better screen and speakers and this thing is amazing. Definitely recommend if you already love your 3ds.

Even though stock isn't the best right now, the console is still fantastic! Compared to the smaller one with the face plates, the XL model is preferred due to the bigger screens and the better chance for an IPS (top quality) screen(s). I know this following trait but I feel it's necessary to include: there is no charger, they are cheap anyways and all chargers since the DSi still work! Great buy!

Absolutely love this. I have it in red which is quite sleek. Battery lasts pretty well. 3D quality is great. Does not come with a charger though so don't forget to buy one!

The "New" 3DS XL is almost the exact same as the regular 3DS XL. It's size is just right and it also includes a right-hand analog thumbstick and ZL and ZR buttons, which aren't available on the original 3DS XL models. My only gripe is that the system doesn't come with a power charger which makes no sense.

I am glad this was available and since getting it I have been very happy using it. It is a bit faster than the previous model and works really well. Glad Best Buy had them online.

Bought for son for Christmas. Game performs exactly as should. Biggest issue I have is that it did not come with charging cable, box did not clearly indicate that it did not and salesperson did not let us know. Fortunately had a cable since had a DSXL, otherwise would have been no fu on Christmas day.

i bought this only for the new Pokemon game and I ended up buying 2 other games. Though, you need to buy a separate charger if you buy this ($20 more) It was worth the quality

I originally didn't want a 3DS XL, but I'm glad I went ahead and got this because the screen size is great. The 3D graphics take some adjusting to, but it's actually a pretty cool feature along with the AR functionality. My only issue with the black hardware is that it's very prone to fingerprints.

3D on the new system is a lot better than older version. If you do not own a 3ds I recommend this. If you already own one maybe wait a bit. Note it does not come with a charger.

Christmas gift for my wife, and she absolutely loved it! Takes adults back to their youth! Wish I knew it didn't come with the power charge cable when I got it so it could have been used on Christmas. I guess I needed to read the fine print on the back of the box. But otherwise, its a great product!

Was not sure if I should upgrade to the new 3DS XL from my regular 3DS but I am so glad that I did. Love the 3d from every angle. Much better viewing therefore better game play.

My brother had the original DS and I got him this for Xmas and he bought Orcania of Time and loves it, my only thing is that the 3D looks better on some games then others

I have had just about every version of the Nintendo hand held game systems. this one is the best of them all. big screen, compatibility with older games. it is awesome sauce

This 3ds has gone beyond my expectations. The new 3d features makes it feel like you can actually reach inside the game, and the cstick is extremely useful on monster hunter 4.

Bought this as a birthday gift for my 12 year old son. It hasn't left his hands since he got it. He says it has better graphics and he loves that he can use the amiibo with it.

better experience with a larger screen - great amount of games available and also backward compatible with older games from previous Nintendo DS versions
