Nintendo has perfected an already great formula with the New Nintendo 3DS. Improvements include a faster processor, battery life, buttons with better feedback, and adaptive brightness control. My favorite improvement of all is in regards to the 3D, which tracks your head to maintain the effect from all angles. Whereas I only used my 3D sparingly before, I know keep it on at all times, giving a whole new element to games new and old. I highly recommend this system.

I bought a New 3DS XL to replace my 3DS XL. The face tracking alone is worth the cost of admission as it finally allows the user to leave 3d on in most situations. It's faster, which has marginal value. It's slightly larger but still fits in all the 3ds cases (but needs different shells or skins). The removable bottom is not challenging to handle (I put my old data on a microSD card in expectation of the new 3ds. The build quality is top notch.

I bought mine from dell at first and returned because the c-stick wasnt responding as well as i knew it should have. I got it on bestbuy and bam... this thing is awesome. Last ds i owned was the lite... i was on vita but sold it because it still has no games that waste of technology -_-... anyways i love mario kart. just got into this Monster hunter game and its so much fun and easy with the c-stick... uhm yeah IG:Marc12394 for more info.

If you don't already have a 3ds, this is the perfect entry point. The 3D has been vastly improved, making gaming with 3d a lot easier on the eyes. It's a little quicker and more powerful, plus, it has amiibo functionality built in. I wish I had been able to get my hands on a Majora's Mask edition, but I don't regret this purchase. I've enjoyed playing hours and hours of Majora's Mask on this larger screen. Get this!

I bought this as my only Nintendo Device and my only means to play nintendo games. For that, I love it and the additions they made to the hardware are everything I'd hope they'd be. There are still some issues that keep this from being a five-star device. I Love being able to Play Smash and Mario again which counts a lot for me. Pros: 3D head tracking, C-Stick, Ability to Play Nintendo Games and Classics. Cons: Low-Resolution when compared to most devices that makes Netflix and YouTube apps obsolete compared to smartphones and tablets, Account System isn't unified like it should be i.e. Xbox Live, PSN, Hands cramp when playing for an extended period of time.

I was itching for a new device, so I may have been biased, but I jumped on this as soon as I was able to get one. The 3D is vastly improved and the new -C stick is quite useful (much better than the circle pad pro). As for how much I really needed it, I can say that it wasn't an absolute necessity. I was never bothered by load times on the old 3DS. But now, I can play Xenoblade Chronicles, so I'm happy

I am a long-time fan of portable gaming. I regularly play on my 3DS, Vita, PSP, and iPhone. I was an early adopter of the 3DS and have had the regular and XL versions. The New 3DS, despite the poor title, features many improvements that address the most common complaints against the system in effective ways. Many have said it's the ideal version of the 3DS, and I think that is a good description. First and foremost, the eye-tracking on the 3D works fantastic. As a fan of playing with the 3D all the way up, some more active games like Kid Icarus or Street Fighter could sometimes yield misaligned viewing and loss of 3D, but the new system makes it very difficult to break the great 3D effect. Also, the previously weak sound volume on the 3DS XL has been adjusted to a more comfortable level. The new buttons are a very comfortable and useful addition. The nub performs very well and I can't imagine playing Majora's Mask without it for camera control. I haven't tested it yet, but it apparently also emulates circle-pad pro functionality for games that support it. This is a huge bonus and would've been a sore oversight if they hadn't done so. As for the additional shoulder buttons, I haven't needed them yet, but they are easy to distinguish from the regular shoulder buttons and seem to respond well. Nintendo very seldom screws these things up. I recommend this for everyone who doesn't have any 3DS system, and those who do have a system already but play it a great deal.

I owned the original 3DS (the small size) and i never once used the 3D option - always kept it off- because it didn't work as well. but with the new one, it actually works well compared to the old version. also, the extra buttons and design gives it an improvement, though I haven't yet used it to play the older 3DS games, I can envision the potential for different and new games on the system.

Absolutely satisfied that Nintendo of America decided to bring over this color variant of the New 3DS XL which was a timed exclusive to Japan. This edition is quite vibrant in color and has an absolutely adorable finish to it for the Pokemon enthusiasts. It does have a glossy exterior so it will attract fingerprints, so a clear case would be recommended to protect the exterior design. It comes with amiibo support, C-Stick, ZL & ZR buttons and an overall performance boost. My only complaint is that Nintendo still has the screen lottery with IPS and TN displays. The model I received is a top IPS and bottom TN unit. This system is releasing late in the 3DS life cycle which could be a problem since it is only 1 week apart from the launch of the Nintendo Switch. Nonetheless in typical Nintendo fashion it is all but guaranteed that this system will sell out, so make sure to grab one if you're a hardcore Nintendo enthusiast. This system is truly the definitive way to play all of your 3DS titles for years to come.

This new 3ds has taken a big leap forward. The 3d is 100% better than old models. If you didn't like it before you may very well love it now. Then the machine is so much quicker than the older models. It also feels much nicer in your hands. It is sturdier. The top screen is not as floppy as it used to be. The buttons are placed much more logically. All in all totally worth the upgrade.

If you have a 3DS (not XL) and you want a new one, this is a great buy. The new features and the faster processor makes this 3DS excellent. Though if you have a 3DS XL, this buy would be something you would want to consider. The only thing you are getting from it is more buttons and some other things, but it is a upgrade. One thing to note is that this will not come with a charger.

I have heard that the original 3DS had issues with tracking your face and providing clear 3D images so I was a little reluctant to make this purchase, however I am very glad that I did! All 3D issues seem to be fixed, the console fits my hands well, and I find myself utilizing the system for Netflix and Youtube more then I ever anticipated I would. Overall great little system!

The New Nintendo 3DS had been a long time coming, and is a grand improvement over previous models. Boasting a new, faster processor, load times will seem to pass in a flash. This is evident even in heavier games like Super Smash Bros for 3DS. With added Amiibo support and enhanced controls, this handheld is definitely worth it. The only downside is the lack of an included charger.

While the New Nintendo 3DS/XL may seem like an incremental upgrade, I highly recommend it to both current 3DS owners as well as people looking to purchase a 3DS for the first time. The improvements over the original model might seem small on paper, but I can attest to the huge difference they make in the functionality of the system. First of the Super Stable 3D actually makes the 3D effect of the system usable and enjoyable. On the original 3DS, you had to hold the system straight in front of you and be very careful not to move your head or the 3D would break, and I often found myself getting headaches very quickly. I eventually stopped using the 3D all together on the original system. However on the New 3DS, the Super Stable 3D allows you to view the 3D effect from a much wider angle, making it more comfortable to hold and play with with the 3D on. I have found myself enjoying the 3D for the first time in a long time, and this alone makes it worth the upgrade. The C-Stick and ZR/ZL buttons also add a ton of new functionality, and the bonus of not having to use a bulky Circle Pad Pro is a huge plus. The Faster CPU is definitely noticeable in transitioning from a game to the home menu and back, and games like Monster Hunter 4 look much better on the New 3DS. Overall I would absolutely recommend this system to current and prospective 3DS owners.

I had the old 3DS- not the XL and this is a nice upgrade! Screen is larger. The 3D looks basically the same to me, but I am able to watch this 3D longer than the first one. It used to hurt my eyes after a while. Now I am playing for hours without noticing it is on. Con - heavy! I guess that comes with the territory of XL. Con - no added charger! I had to search for my old one.

So i absolutely love this new 3ds. From having the regular 3ds I had trouble play super smash since my hand are too big. Now there's no problem. The screen is perfect and the processor is much better. The only thing you need to know is that it doesn't come with a charger so if this is the 1st 3ds you"ll own you will need the purchase one. Besides that it awesome.

If you've had a ds or are new to the system Nintendo always does it right. Easy to use and lots of new features to satisfy people that are just upgrading.

I chose the 3DS over all the other handhelds and I'm glad I did. Game selection was more satisfying and the 3D feature was amazing. The screen size was perfect and the whole system felt like a good quality build. The only down side is that the *New* 3DS does not come with a charger so for us who have never own one before are stuck buying it separately.
