I'm loving the design & look to it. Both my son & I have one & enjoy it very much. I also still have my 3DS as I still love the 3D effect. So getting this one for myself was just for collection & backup for when my 3DS hits the bucket one day.

This is an excellent evolutIon of the DS and will be a permanent addition to my library.

You have to download software to get it to change settings. Apparently my computer can't do that, so I just have to deal with it pulsing, which isn't bad by the way. Otherwise, I think it's very nice.

If you aren't a 3D person, this is the DS for you. Awesome design and cool portable unit by Nintendo. I love mine.

I did not know what to get my 10 year old grandson. The staff at Best Buy suggested this Nintendo. Guess what? It was the perfect gift for him. I bought 3 Nintendo games to go with the 2DSXL and he did not put the 2DS down the entire vacation. Winner of a present.

Bought this for my daughter as a christmas gift. She has spent all year asking for it.

The 2ds-xl is a wonderful alterative to the 3ds. I find that the battery lasts decently long. Specs say it is shorter than the 3ds xl, but I didn’t notice any major difference. With the price, it is hard to argue against saving $50, unless you really want 3d.

I love my Nintendo 2DS XL, I enjoy playing Scramble and other word games. It is perfect to past time at work (when we are not busy). The size is perfect to carry in your purse. This was a very good investment.

Wow, this thing is slim and MUCH lighter. 3D was a gimmick anyway. Bigger screens, no lag (because no 3D), AND it comes with its own charger again! The only thing is that 2DS is such a silly name, but how else would Nintendo back away from the 3DS?

This is a good game for a young child before purchasing the larger game systems!

I have been wanting to grab a new DS to play some of the retro games while traveling, and this was my answer. It folds like the 3DS and comes with the charging cable (weird that the 3DS does not). Battery lasts a long time with headphone. Great product!

Good system.....would recommend to anyone interested in handheld gaming system.
