Definitely not worth $400 and this is coming from a Dyson fanatic.

Thank you for your review. This is Miella from Dyson. We're sorry to hear of your disappointment with your Dyson Corrale straightener. The Corrale was tested on miles and miles of different hair textures and types to ensure it's versatile straightener. Depending on your hair type, you may need to section the hair in smaller sections.
The Corrale provides up to 40 minutes of cord free styling, depending on the heat mode used. We recommend starting low and working up as the flexible plates assist in heat management. Between sections, we recommend putting the machine on the charger cradle.

Awesome flat iron

Battery dies quite fast even if you have it plug into the power outlet. The cordless convenience is mostly for touch ups. But if you don’t have much hair, medium length and is wavy you can make it work within 10-15 min with full battery. It leaves your hair super soft and shiny. I love that my hair feels and looks healthy but really is not that worth it.

I have fine hair, slightly wavy when air dried, but it can be frizzy AF. I'm able to straighten/de-frizz in like 5 minutes with this at the lowest heat setting. My hair is super shiny and doesn't feel crispy or smell burnt when I use this. I'd never pay full retail for this, but I got it when it was on sale and had some gift cards.

I purchased the complete styling set, but I rarely use it. So I was on the fence about the straightener. I’m so happy I bought it. It’s completely different from any straightener I’ve ever had. I also love that I can use it cordless or with the cord if it’s not charged. Works great!

I am able to straighten my hair in my car or wherever I am. I have fine hair so it straightens easily and fast. I can straighten and curl and still have about half of the charging time left before I need to charge again. The things I do not like is the price and it is a little heavy.

My only issue with it is that when wireless, it doesn’t last very long. Maybe 20 minutes. With a lot of hair, it’s not super convenient. The cord doesn’t stay on very easily especially with a lot of movement. Overall the straightener is good.

Bought this for my wife, and luckily she loves the iron. Replaced the $40 one we got from costco, You can keep the power cable plugged in to use it like a wired iron. The only downside is the battery life only lasts ~15 mins on a full charge. Luckily I was able to order the gift set when they restocked it, and there was a $100 off offer when I bought it, so total cost was $399 + tax

I can fix my hair in 20 minutes and it will last at least a hour. Love it... even though it is very expensive. I'm not sure i would travel (airplane) with it as it requires to be carried on your carry on because of the battery type and you have to unplug it (an extra step i would not want to forget) at a special place. But great for road trips!
