A: no. i would say it's not normal that it came in a non-sealed package. mine was all sealed up. i would return it right away. it sounds like it was definitely pre used...only imo. several people complain about the sound, so I'm guessing it's normal. mine makes it every time i charge it. very annoying but it is what it is i guess. hope this helps!
