They always know how to keep that nostalgic feeling while adding something new to the series. Its so much fun on the switch and the fact that its portable and my kids can play it on the go makes this a must get for any gamer parent.

My wife was recently playing the original Super Mario Bros & Mario 3 and I wanted to get her something in the vein. This definitely scratches that itch. Very much similar to those and Super Mario World. The graphics are updated though and it's a great follow up to the one on the original Wii. I should add this is a port of the one that came out on WiiU with the Luigi version added (which to my understanding are not new levels, just new game mode). Rayman Legends is another great side scrolling game. Amazing platformer and probably one of the most gorgeous games I've played. Anyways, if you liked Mario Bros 3 or super mario world, this is a great successor.

One of the best mario games ever made, multiplayer is really fun.

First I will begin by saying the Best Buy on Joe Battle never disappoints with its excellent customer service. Thank you Mr Zamorra and David. Now to my review of fun time with the family... or as its called new super mario deluxe. The game transforms everyone in my family into their 12 year version. The Kid in us that doesn't worry about bills or chores.... only getting to the next level, one kuppa at a time. So yes. Buy this game. Also, I had more fun with this game than Super Mario Odyssy. Because you can play Co-Op for most (all the game modes). Just picture and your daughter, stomping kuppas and taking Bowser. Just know this is classic mario at its best. Side scrolling mayhem. Simple fun. Plenty of secrets for the perfectionist. But always fun for the whole family.

If you enjoy classic Mario, this is a game to get! Brings back all the nostalgia you would expect. Fun for all ages. Has all the fun characters like Mario, luigi, Yoshi, peach

You absolutely cannot go wrong with this Mario game for your Nintendo switch, an absolute blast and joy to play. Wether you are young or old it will bring out the kid of everyone

So much fun! Just like the original except you can actually see it with incredible quality. Much better than having your eyes burn into the screen the graphics of the 90s. Definitely worth the purchase!

This is my second game, the first was for my daughter..it was so so good playing with the famili that my niece felt in love with this one and decided to get one for her... very very entertaining game...highly recommended

Another fun Mario adventure to play through by yourself or with friends. It's fun by yourself but you get the full experience if you enjoy it with your friends or together as a family! And you can take it on the go with you!

I’ve had this game for a while I never get bored or tired of replaying it and trying to find all three good stars in the game!

The game is fun and simple for the kiddos but also changing for us older folk. The best part is that it's a 2 player game. Yah there are better 1 player games out there but I want my kids to have a blast together.

great Mario classic with modern mechanics. multi-player adds interactive elements with the other players such as hopping off of their heads for greater height. Fun game but can be difficult.

If you missed this one on the Wii U, you should definitely give it a go this time around. A challenging, modernized take on the classic 2-D Mario formula, with a couple of easier characters for the less experienced crowd to select.

We weren’t able to find the new oled switch in time for Christmas but mid January by sheer luck I was able to get one at my local Best Buy. I purchased this game as the first game for my two girls ages 5 and 7. This is their very first video game console and they love this Mario game. They got the hang of the controls very quickly and my husband and I help them out with the more difficult levels. Multi player mode is fun and kids love that mom and dad are playing video games with them. Dare I say we are now cool parents? All around fun for all of us and I’m glad we bought this one first.
