Love this item. Easy to play and the characters are amazing. Bright and clear.

We weren’t able to find the new oled switch in time for Christmas but mid January by sheer luck I was able to get one at my local Best Buy. I purchased this game as the first game for my two girls ages 5 and 7. This is their very first video game console and they love this Mario game. They got the hang of the controls very quickly and my husband and I help them out with the more difficult levels. Multi player mode is fun and kids love that mom and dad are playing video games with them. Dare I say we are now cool parents? All around fun for all of us and I’m glad we bought this one first.

I love this game so much & is the first game I got along with my Oled because my sister & I would play this on the wii & had to bring back the nostalgia

2d super Mario games sometimes feel a bit old school but this remake of the game is still a lot of fun. Granted, it isn’t a massive overhaul of the old game so that’s a bummer if you’ve already played the other one a ton but there’s enough here that it’s worth playing again. A nice touch is the ability to play as other characters that make the game easier as that lets younger kids experience it with less of the frustration.

Brings me back to playing the first Mario in my old school Nintendo.

You can find hours of fun in any mainstream Mario game and this one doesn't disappoint. It seems to play better and easier than when it was on Wii U plus it has the bonus content. Worth it.

I bought this for nephew as his first switch game. This is a great game to gain a foundation for Mario games in general. A starting point for a new gamer.

My son got this for Christmas. He and I enjoy playing it, together, very much. It is 1 of his favorites and was easy for him to figure out and doesn't frustrate him like some games do.

I purchased this for my 13-year-old son. According to him, this is a very enjoyable Mario game. It is an advanced version (or “port”) of the Super Mario Bros U. game on the Wii U. In the Switch version, there is a surprising amount of content that will really excite someone who likes to get the full experience out of games. There are two full campaigns, a challenge mode, and two multiplayer modes. The two campaigns in this game are quite fun. Both offer imaginative level designs along with great, but simple control options. Mario U is the first campaign, and it is a pretty standard Mario adventure. Luigi U changes up the level designs, physics, and time limit of the game leading to a more challenging adventure. Unfortunately, a lot of the themes have been done before in multiple other Mario games. This is the fifth entry in the New Super Mario series, but it does not offer many new features. Both Mario U and Luigi U (the 2 campaigns) are good, but unoriginal (Mario U more so than Luigi U). But this changes with ‘challenge mode.’ If you thought the main campaigns were hard, this will be much harder. It is tons of fun trying to get gold medals on all of the challenges. And the game even offers two multiplayer modes to play against friends in, Coin Battle and Boost Rush, which are both fun. Overall, the game is very good, but it is similar to previous Mario games so only 4 stars. Music, graphics, and gameplay are standard, but the game itself is great!

I wanted to lick this game up because I am slowly trying to get all of the Wii U releases on my Switch physically. It’s a Mario game and it’s fun. I do not recommend buying this game at full price, however if it’s on sale then I definitely recommend it.

This continues to be a must have for kids. The greatly improved characters and the new features make sure that, even if you have played mario bros before, you will not be disappointed.

I bought this game for my 12 year old daughter for Christmas. The entire family enjoyed playing the game. The graphics were amazing, and it was easy to learn to play for the beginners.

A fun Mario game to play with three other players. You can have so much fun playing with friends or family in a great adventure.

My kids play it all the time. I’ve played it too. Definitely challenging but totally fun. Probably one of the best Mario games in years. Brings me back to my NES days back in the early 90s.

Game is almost identical to the Wii U version, the visuals look cleaner and includes the Luigi expansion from the start plus extra characters. This is definitively worth buying if you never played the Wii U release.

I totally recommend this game. Brings me old memories from my childhood. It's definitely challenging for me.

Have played both solo and co-op. The real fun is in co-op, but it's still a solid single player platformer. I like the music and art style, and collecting the 3 large coins in each level can be challenging. The platforming isn't as precise as some other titles, so the controls can feel "floaty" at times. This includes the Luigi time trial mode which isn't easy! This game is kid friendly but also a nice challenge for adults.
