One of the best 2D Mario games and easily the best of the New Super Mario Bros. sub-series, the game is a nominal showcase of Nintendo's continued mastery of the formula, being able to maintain the core elememlnts that started the franchise while keeping things fresh with excellent level designs and a minimal, but self aware and unexpected take on the story. I've played the original on Wii U and enjoyed every second of it, so I'm estatic to finally get my hands on this Deluxe edition to relive the experience with new character options.

My wife loves the game. Takes her back to the original one.

A Re-release I will in tendo Wii U game. It’s a good game but I don’t think it should’ve been full price since it is a re-release, but it’s Mario Gotta have it

If you have played previous versions... you know why you need this one. Love the addition of the new characters and my kids have played this constantly since Christmas. Must have for any Nintendo fan.

Works great for my sons Nintendo Switch lite. All of the games are easy for a young kid to play and I had fun playing some games that I played during my childhood.

Already have this on Wii U, but having it portable is much nicer. newer switch controllers is a much better experience with others when you want to play multiplayer no hunting for second controllers.

I bought the game for My wife and I to play together. We look for shared screen games that Aren’t overly complicated to play. We are both kinda old (50) and don’t enjoy most newer style games since most just have too much stuff to learn and manage. Basically, it’s what you expect from Mario. We’ve had a few weekends of crummy weather here and have enjoyed just chilling out and playing a good game. It’s tough but not insanely so, and not so simple that you get bored with it. We’ve both enjoyed it, and will continue to play it as our downtime permits.

Really fun game and want to own all the Mario games

I have this game on the WiiU. The only difference I can tell with this one besides the upgraded graphics, is that it includes Toadette and Peach as playable characters. NOT separate characters though. Toadette turns into peach when she gets a mushroom. I think they could have done more with this game tbh, especially for the price.

Classic feel with modern updates. It's a fun game to play and beat! Some levels are hard bit they are all beatable. Using the right character makes a world of difference.

So many hours of fun and frustration. This game brings back memories of trying your best to pass each level and beat each boss but this has a modern look and feel.

This is such a fun game! I was doing a little bit of research on which games to buy for the Switch and everywhere--this was on the top 5. I completely agree after playing it for some time now. It's pretty pricey, but definitely worth it cuz you can keep going back to any level and still have as much fun as the first time. There's so much to explore in each level. I also like that you don't have to be frustrated for being in any playing level; you can choose your character to be easier or harder depending on how experienced you are. Highly recommend this product. Wishing that Switch games will start to get cheaper soon.
