It has taken me a while to settle into the game. At first, it seems very similar to Super Mario Brothers 3, only with way better graphics, while incorporating some of the cooler aspects of the more recent games (like the ability to fly from the Super Nintendo). However, the controller feature doesn't work as well as the original Super Mario Brothers Games. The characters slide a lot more and the timing of your jumps seems more difficult that the original Nintendo and Super Nintendo versions. One thing that is cool, there are significantly more secret areas and levels. You can explore each area a long time. I also both like and dislike the simultaneous two player feature. I do find myself confused as to which character I'm controlling and your partner can often cause you to die by jumping on you. I would say I enjoy the game but it's more of an upgraded game than something brand new.

Yay, finally a game like Mario Bros. from before. Great game, easy to use with switch lite.

This game was definitely one of the best games on the Wii U but i don't think it's worth the full 60.00 to play on the Switch. It goes on sale which is when i bought it and it's still fun to play. Awesome game to play with friends and family.

It’s so much fun for all ages. The difficulty is adjustable and it’s similar to the DS game. So much fun!

We purchased this game for our family to play with together. It’s a lot of fun but some of the games are a little tough for our 4 year old and 6 year old to play. My husband and I, however, enjoy playing them against each other after the kids go to bed :) Fun game!

Bought this game for my son and he loves it. It’s like the super Mario game and not like the odyssey. Level after level.

I do not have a Wii, so this is the first time that I have played this game. I have been playing it for a couple of months now and I have really enjoyed it! The game platform is very fun and it reminds me of the old school Mario game from when I was younger. It is more challenging than your 1980s Mario games, but it is nice that you can play as a single player or with two players. If you have enjoyed playing other Mario Bros type games, you'd probably like this game.

I can say that this system works for the little ones to take with them and the college child that needs a break while at school. I just don’t like the controls that come with it because I am used to the 9s4 and Xbox. That was fixed by purchasing additional controllers.
