This is a great Mario game. If you have liked the other 2D Mario games, it's hard to imagine that you would not like this one. In fact, I would say that this game has some of the best designed levels in a Mario game. Where is does fall a little bit for me is the visuals. At it's core, the visuals actually look pretty nice as they are clean and pretty, but they are also old. Nintendo has historically done a good job of changing visual styles between games, so the fact that this style has been used in a few Mario games now makes it feel old and less exciting. Of course this might now be an issue at all for other people, so you may like this game even more.

Playing this game with 3 pals is a ton of fun for everyone.

I am a reviews person and most reviews state its identical to the Wii U version. I bought it regardless. This version is still fun to play regardless if you’ve played it for the Wii U.
