Just as great as it was on the Wii U with one exception. They removed the touchpad 5th player functionality and challenges which were fantastic additions to the original game. On the plus side, they include Super Luigi U which is just as fun as it was the first time around.

I never actually played this game on Wii U, or any of the New Super Mario Bros games. So the criticism of it being like the others didn’t phase me so much. Been having fun with it. The coop with my girlfriend makes it better. Definitely recommend if you like Mario games.

I missed it on wii-U, two games with all thier DLCs On the go, now i got my 2d mario fix

The convenience of having the the old school games on Nintendo Switch is the best
